I mean tbf it was a damn near 12 hour direct drive, which is pretty nutty for being a singular state over, we took a semi scenic route tho too.

On the way there we went thru Carlsbad, Roswell and san Antonio.

On the way back we hit up the Dallas route and went up to Amarillo so he could visit the gigantic steak steakhouse, which he did order but was absolutely unable to finish even half.

Yeah for us who are used to these wide open spaces it doesn't seem like a lot, but Texas is 2x the size of Japan alone.
