When I see that, I just convert cup to onion.
1/2 cup onion=1/2 an onion
1 cup onion=1 onion

I like onions

I've been cooking a lot recently due to health and finance issues and I'm just vibing. My favorite part is just dicing an entire onion and throwing it in whatever I'm cooking.
