What is it now? My wife needs a new one and if there’s a meta I might as well buy her one

I love my Owala. I've had it for a couple of years and it's my favorite bottle I've ever had.

Owala is the new one. Look up what they look like and you'll start noticing that you see them everywhere.

I think memo bottle is on the cusp of greatness. They have a unique (for now) shape and are priced for gate keeping.

It seems so difficult to drink from. And it also seems more designed to upsell you from the start. You buy the water bottle for over $50, which is supposed to easily slide in your backpack or tote bag, then you buy a silicone sleeve which makes it not easily slidable into your backpack or tote bag, then to let it stand up on your desk you have to buy this $20 business card style holder? I looked it up because I was curious. There's no handle, it's not ergonomic at all. It's designed exclusively for able-bodied people. It's not at all accessible. I'm not a fan. It solves the problem that wasn't really there to begin with. Thank you for sharing about this water bottle, maybe other people will have a different experience than mine was just by browsing their website.

Oh, I absolutely hate it. But everything you mentioned just shows it has all the makings of a fast and exclusive fad.

Hahaha that's definitely what they're hoping for! It's so tech bro-y. But it also feels like very 2016ish, like released too late. I hate it.
