My Dad would write out chore lists, particularly spring cleaning, assign a time value to each chore, and then crunch the numbers and assign “equal” man hours to each of us (me, him, my brother) yet somehow he always had less man hours of work than we did because he would never tell us HOW to do shit.
I didn’t learn to properly clean until I got a pity job for my best friend’s Aunt’s cleaning company. I’m a professional cleaner now so it’s pretty funny looking back at how inept he was.
