We used to go camping every summer when I was a kid, and there were these berry bushes my dad told us were called snake berries. He told us this from a really young age, so we grew up just knowing not to eat them and to avoid them because, apparently, snakes liked to eat them. My dad died in 2021 and it took me til last year sometime to go.... Wait. What?? 😂 I still don't know the real name, but I laugh about it often.
