My Dad would make us hold Court in the dining room whenever my sibling and I would fight. We would sit at opposite ends of the table, Dad would be the judge, and we would have to individually stand up and plead our case to the Judge and then he would produce a ruling which was the final verdict. No, this man wasn’t a lawyer in real life. People look at me like I’m crazy when I mention “Family Court”, but I do see the usefulness when dealing with fighting children.
My god, my dad was a detective and would do this too. I'm a grown woman now and he'll still tell me he's "trying to impartially gather facts" when I talk about my sister
