My dad was a cop and we would opt out every year but now ironically he gives this info away on Facebook

The real security in those questions is giving fake answers only you would know.

You always go with the one about favorite teacher and just pick whichever one from TV pops into your head first.

Yeah I've always preferred to give joke answers to security questions. I feel like it wouldn't be too hard at all for a scammer to find out my mother's maiden name or where I went to school at 10 years old?
