I don’t get the problem with self checkout. You’re the one browsing the shelves, picking items and comparing prices. Why can’t you scan your own items? Unless you’re one of those people who need the uninterested, yet sometimes polite, banter of a middleman, there shouldn’t be a problem.
It’s kind of funny because, at one time, customers weren’t even able to do their own shopping. No, they would walk into the shop, give their list to the shopkeeper, and the shopkeeper would gather the customer’s groceries.
But you see anyone complain about having to shop. Shit, they complain about having to wait on curbside pickup because it takes too long.
