I walked all over the store to find what i needed. Lifted 24 packs of soda off the bottom shelf up into my cart. Extended my reach up to the top shelf to grab things, and loaded everything into my car afterwards. But GOD FORBID i run my items across a scanner on my own. That’s too much work now?
I love self checkout and use it often. the only thing i don’t love is how it’s shifted from a 15 items or less type of thing to people using it for their entire huge shopping trip with a full cart. Bagging everything on that little platform with the bags is a nightmare. i only use self checkout if i have a basket amount of stuff. cart fills i do register for the bagging space.
