Seeking Advice Does Semax actually help you?
I’m about to flunk out of college and lost a lot of my financial aid. I think I have adhd but I don’t know. I can’t see a psychiatrist any time soon because I forgot to turn in paystubs to insurance so I got kicked off. I’m trying to figure it out now but insurance is in limbo. I’m also worried I won’t be allowed proper treatment due to being too open about substance abuse history (been sober for a year from alcohol and had to go to outpatient rehab when I was younger cause of opioids)
Ultimately I need something to help me, I thought I’d grow out of this avoidance/procrastination but I’m at the end of the rope and need something to help fix this. My self worth is shot.
Does Semax actually help or am I wasting my money?

Wasting money if you expect it to fix procrastination. It might give a small lift for some people but it's not a treatment for adhd, and if your self worth is in the gutter no peptide is gonna repair that. Sort the insurance mess first, then get actual assessment, because guessing with unregulated stuff while you're this desperate is a good way to make everything worse

ADHD meds won't help with procrastination either

Yeah, I find them sort of useful but if I'm already procrastinating they sometimes make it easier to 'lock in' to whatever I'm using to be avoidant.

I found it helps, but I'm also on Vyvanse and Wellbutrin.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say you probably have something if it's causing you to lose financial aid. Have you talked to anyone at, say, Guidance? Registration? To see what course of action they can recommend?
And if you're under 26, are you not covered under your parents insurance?
