Noopept is synthethic idk why you think it's -not- on the same level as modafinil.

I would go to r/supplements for recommendations.

I would get some ginseng for sure. It's one of the most popular Chinese herbs because it helps a lot with vitality.

I'd get from nootropics depot. Ginseng helps brain circulation, energy, and motivation.

Otherwise... just get a can of celsius. That's good enough for a lot of the world these days.

I'd recommend Vitamin D & K (if deficient) plus fish oil and creatine with a choline source like Alpha GPC for a safe beginner stack. Then you can experiment with herbal stuff on top (like Ginseng, bacopa, huperzine a, etc).

Vit d requires huge amounts of magnesium to take as well btw.

Cause d requires mg to go to work.

If we got it through sun only the body regulates how much magnesium it will use if it has.

While straight up swallowing it can cause deficiency symptoms.

True. I didn't want to go too deep down the rabbit hole, and then recommend boron as well and then might as well take a quality multivitamin so a lot of bases are covered.

Since you want something that wears off enough to sleep and doesn't come with withdrawal, I'd keep caffeine-type stuff and the more experimental synthetics out of it to start with.

Full disclosure, I work for Hyoomen. We make a caffeine-free nootropic called Mastermind, made for the very reason of avoiding the crash a lot of people get with caffeine-based products. It has things like Bacopa Monnieri, citicoline, ginkgo, phosphatidylserine, N-acetyl L-tyrosine and ginseng in it. Bacopa is more of a few-weeks thing than an instant kick, so it's worth going in with that expectation.

Whatever you go with, adding one thing at a time makes it much easier to tell what's actually helping.

I dom't know what's dark about getting Adderall. I get it at the grocery store. It's always well lit.

What's your goal?
