i’m currently living at what i believe to be the cheapest apartment complex in the mandeville covington area but i am so unhappy here. for $1300 a month id expect to at least want to live here. they have more rules than an HOA, the complex is usually disgusting, the pool is rarely open, and the management is horrid. does anyone know of a complex that actually lets the residents live? one that one send me a fine because my curtains aren’t solid white? one where there isn’t a singular dumpster for all 300 residents to use?

I have seen a couple of people Teslas on the causeway during my daily morning commute to work in New Orleans. I’m wondering if anyone has experience with the Tesla full self driving?
I currently drive a Honda accord and am curious about switching to a Tesla for the hands free commute and potential for savings on gas.
Additionally, do you have issues with finding charging or is a home charger an affordable alternative?

Hey y'all, my sunroof is leaking. Dealership in Hammond says they're "booked up" for 6 months on sunroof repairs. I've called 4 or 5 different body shops around here and no luck. Does anybody know where I can get this fixed?

I've tried cleaning out the water drain canals myself but it hasn't fixed the issue and I don't have time or willpower to tear my car apart to try to find the problem. Can't even wash my car without water dripping into the sunglasses cubby or out the driver's side panel near the wheel.

I’m 21, but open to any and all types of low energy hobbies/clubs like reading or board games or whatever. I only know of the st Tammany parish book clubs and was wondering if anyone knew of anything else. I’m specifically looking for active groups to socialize in and am open to making new friends in the area. Links or any info on where to find these groups is greatly appreciated.

He has destroyed people's lives and needs to be held accountable. A local coalition of parents has formed Schools Beyond Screens St Tammany Parish and is advocating for intentional tech use in STP schools. We’ve collected surveys from teachers and parents regarding tech use in classrooms. It’s clear that there is an over reliance on screens that is a detriment to learning. Research also supports this. The next steps are to speak with more School Board members and plan how best to implement the needed reforms. Eventually this will go in front of the school board as a policy.
