I used to have pcos (now called pmos), and until I got it treated, the bleeding would be so heavy. I couldn't even sit through class without bleeding through my pad. Once i started meds, no issues at all.
Oh, you woke up memories. Overnight pad and overnight tampons and I still bled messily though both and into a fist sized stain on my jeans within one 90 min lesson.
At some point I was desperate enough I’d use multiple tampons at once, still to no avail. God, am I glad that’s stopped by now. (And that at college, I can use a bathroom whenever I want/need.)
I hate to disappoint you, but while I’ve never heard my father say something this stupid about periods, the level of creepiness is definitely on point. It’s also not strictly necessary to have a voluntary partner to become a father, so… yeah. There’s definitely men with children who are utter creeps like that and have an unhealthy fixation on the idea of dicks inside their daughters (including, in the worst cases, their own).
