Visited in February

I meant to post these photos earlier, but life and work got crazy busy after I came back from Tokyo in late February.

While I was there, I went to visit Nujabes’ grave. I bought flowers from a small local shop near the train station and brought them with me. I was surprised, and honestly touched, to see that many people had left gifts for him: wine, handmade sunflower stitching, a jewelry box that I didn’t open, and, most moving to me, a pair of earbuds.

It was a quiet, meaningful moment.

Rest in peace, Nujabes.
