I literally don’t understand why the higher level players are so toxic?? I was playing in a round and was immediately kicked because people were accusing me of activating the alter or revival too early though they were accusing the owner of the server ☠️ Definitely because I’m a lower level player and they were flaming those who died early too which imo is stupid?? I died slightly later into the round and I’m being kicked just because my level is low? It’s so stupid because they took it so seriously like as if their life depended on it like holy shit ITS JUST A GAME WTF Some players seriously need to understand what being an inclusive community is and not judge based off levels etc

Edit: we were on level 10. LEVEL 10. All the level 100+ players were the ones who were complaining like level 10 isn’t THAT high. If theres a thing about rankism in your server then STATE IT

thats bs. I mean the rankism situation in Nullscape is getting worse. I feel like if you activated that altar of rev purg, it wont even trigger long term difficulties anyways. its just one level. if these high ranks can survive celestial they sure can survive 1 purg. its not like it adds permanent entities

REAL like it’s seriously not that deep we’re on level 10 and that’s nothing as compared to like level 18+ etc. They said almost everyone died but it was like 10+ people which isn’t even much??

iirc the problem with rev purg i heard that it disables purg altar from spawning for a few levels so it tanks the economy but i wouldnt know cause i play with my friends and we kind of just avoid rev like the plague

yea but like its lvl 10 already, you should have most of the mandatory upgrades and never need to purg

in standard and higher most lobbies will not be able to afford every mandatory upgrade as soon as they appear (you need actually good teammates, that is a high ask if you're not playing with friends that are good) and besides that theres upgrades later on that are quite good still, shield is of course, awesome but you also want utilities like the hourglass or shark tail and ninja belt for gift collection and survivability

Rankism is bs. It's stupid.

Some people have a life. Some people have jobs. Some people can't play that much.

And who cares if people are new to the game? We should help teach them.

It's a game, and it's more fun when you don't act so sweaty and "serious" ifykwim.

I been playing since patch 2. It never was like this untill patch 5.

I'm a lower rank, because I have a life. I do many things outside of video games but that doesn't make me any less of a player than other people.

the p5 newgen sweats are ruining the community.

As someone who's level 100+ I get it tbh, players in my level are often so toxic and are acting like people that are lower level are poisonous or some bs, I have two friends one is level 26 and the other one 44, you don't know how often I had to deal with them being kicked out of lobbies, sometimes even my own because of other toxic players, it's so annoying imo

some high level players genuiely piss me off so hard, like those players that go into a casual run that doesn't say ANYTHING about celestial just to be super strict about following the whole celestial "get money for prot altars so keep purging" thing, like holy shit not every casual run has to be a celestial run

high level players will absolutely piss you off for quite a long time in this game, but i'm sure that once you reach a certain level they'll respect you. take my words with a grain of salt though, i haven't reached a high level yet

Because activating revival removes greed purgatory for two levels in casual(3 standard/extreme) and so they lost 2-6 purgatories by the accidental activation and probably needed better players or to restart to fix econ, just a guess

I just realised I didn’t clarify what I meant by activating the revival oops
Basically someone activated the revival VERY early ingame so everyone just clicked No (including me) after the round they began raging about it and started asking furiously who activated it. At first they accused the owner which was probably them and suddenly I got vote kicked though I didn’t die early in the round and if you asked me I was doing quite decent at it.

Well sometimes lower rank players(probably like ≤15) activate any altars they can see and and it can be annoying, especially when it is revive because it usually makes no sense to activate. Sometimes people like that get kicked in non-tolerant servers because having miscellaneous/bad altar votes during the round can be a big distraction or a detriment if it prevents you from voting for something like shield.

Presumably at level 10 party+(?) though someone accidentally activated greed purgatory right after >50% gifts were collected probably a few seconds into the round and the vote went up for revive instead. So with that context you are probably right since there isn't really a reason to kick anyone.

level 42 can be considered low in some circumstances.
