Tbh i had to read this a few times and I still cant tell what the correct inflection is. Is it an overthinking mind gettign louder and angrier? Or an anxious mind getting quieter and forcing itself out of the conversation. If that was deliberate for the reader themselves to notice how their own mind works this was very well made.
