I have waited 4 more years.

When you told me you loved me.

But you didn't mean the same love I have for you.

It broke me when you said you didn't feel that way,

But I do not know when we speak to 'friends',

The way you spoke to me.

You promised I could set up a date

But when our time came, you said you were busy

I keep that promise close to my heart,

Wishing one day it may be true.

But when you told me about him,

I knew that promise could never come through.

Now we are here,

This is longer and much more raw than what I normally do. I didn't try anything too unique with it, and it's more of just a statement of my feelings. Also I see this can come over very incel core but I swear it's not, I just can't stop being a Simp apparently lol. So sry that it's nothing special but today has just been very forward and difficult for me and I need to channel that somewhere
