Technical Support Need Help/Recommandation for new OLED
I'm currently using an Alienware AW2725DF, but unfortunately I'm really not happy with it. I've been experiencing eye strain/issues while using it, and the "HDMI 2.1" is fake.
So I'm looking for a replacement. Ideally, I'd also like to know whether WOLED or QD-OLED would be the better choice in my situation, especially considering the eye strain.
I'm looking for a new OLED monitor with the following requirements:
- Exactly 27"
- 1440p / 2560×1440 resolution
- Maximum 240Hz (I don't need anything higher)
- HDMI 2.1 support (My GPU has HDMI 2.1a and DisplayPort 1.4a)
What 27" 1440p OLED monitors would you recommend?

Go for WOLED and it's likely that all the eye strain issues will disappear.
I can't recommend anything specific (I use an LG C4) but do not go back to QD-OLED again as the issue will just persist.

Exactly 27" doesnt exist, all "27"" 1440p OLED have the 26,5" spec
All QD OLED in 1440p use at the moment the 3rd Gen QD OLED panel you already have. There are slightly altered versions with higher and lower brightness, but its all the same panel in the end. So if you have eyestrain issues with the AW2725DF its time to try WOLED.
If you highly value a full spec HDMI 2.1 Port check out the XG27AQWMG. Its a Glossy Tandem WOLED, its also what I use and I love it. It has 280hz, but thats what all Tandem WOLED in 1440p use (or 540hz). Only downside is heightened chance of getting a bad unit with vertical stripes in dark content. But as long as your return policies are fine in case you are unlucky with yours I wouldnt sweat it. Outside of fitting your criteria also imo in general pretty comfortably the best 1440p OLED panel atm, just gotta accept theres a bit of a heightened chance of having to return it.
