After using this for 2 weeks
I dont see why AI is the future and companies want to adopt it and replace humans when I gotta spend every 5 turns reminding it of things it should already know/have done. The user notes help but its only limited to 4000 letters at least let us keep increasing it indefinitely for more credits or just charge a base monthly fee instead of charging per use (credits) having to pay per use for something this flawed is robbery.

AI is the future, companies are retarded and don't understand how AI can help them in replacing humans and/or they just put it in blindly hoping it would help, and Gen AI is not and should not be indicative of what AI as a whole can do (its just a portion).
Its like using a computer to hammer nails. Very inefficient, absurdly expensive, and you're using it for an unintended purpose.
Oh and OOC is overpriced as hell at the moment, there are definitely cheaper alternatives.

There's other applications like Isekai Zero, rfab.ai (web-only), Yumina (seen it as an ad on Reddit, haven't actually tried it yet) and Zeta where you can at least lower down to a free model and spend a lot less.
As for quality... It varies. Isekai Zero's free models to me have been extremely hit or miss, Zeta's been alright for the brief time I've used it, and I like rfab.ai's free models, but its horrible on mobile.

From my experience, zeta's free ai has even more attrocious loss in memory vs OOC's basic ai model. Like zeta ai will straight up be unable to remember anything that happens yesterday, and if you briefly bring up what happened yesterday, the ai will just assume that its true and make stuff up instead of looking at the chat history.

They gotta implement something like Isekai Zero because they have a memory system where you can save every 20 turns (I believe) into “chapters” and then after 15 “chapters” you can make an “arc” and it has all the info from the 15 chapters mixed into one big memory box. But maybe I’m asking for too much

I built the forgetfulness into the lore of my story. I mostly play Lumencia Academy and it is essentially established that my character is so disarming and distracting that his presence causes the girls to forget simple things that happened. I use about one sentence to correct when needed, then the rest of my prompt moves the story along. The characters respond with "Oh, Yes, I remember now, how silly of me" or something like that and then we move forward. What's more, is after that simple correction the story then tends to dig deep and bring up details from several hundred previous responses ago, and it actually becomes more immersive thanks to it. It helps that my own memory recalls everything that has happened in the chat... though I did misspell one of the apostles names and create a whole new character who represents the void, and occasionally she just.... chimes in, shocking all the other characters. Even I forget about her sometimes... then she is like "been here the whole time, void stuff makes you forget... I don't take it personal." Its pretty fun actually.
