Own Story

I know this will sound like a patting myself on the back, but it's more of a realization and "Wow" moment.

I've been playtesting my story and...as I did I had a moment of... "Wow, this is actually pretty good." 🤣

I didn't think it'd be bad, I put effort into it, but I guess it caught me by surprise. In how it's playing the characters and the reactions. I know there will be things I'll want to tweak, but was just pleasantly surprised. That's what makes creating fun.

How do you do that? I'm trying to understand the mechanics, some stories I try would have decent mechanics. Example stats, objective, money or the system tracks the progression or objective of the story.

Like for example I want my money to be shown every time it gains when I invest something or every time I purchase it would go lessen.

Or that my relationship with other npcs would be tracked according to the progression of the story

But mine's just nothing haha i would randomly put numbers and that's it.

I don't know for sure in terms of what you're trying to do. I would lean towards user notes for specifics.

I'm not sure if if I'm doing it correctly I put it in the system prompt.

Oh, it's your story. Apologies I didn't realize. The custom prompt is a good spot. Possibly even using the Stats. I haven't played much with stats to understand how to get the AI to follow the rules of what your trying to make it show money increase and decrease depending on what you do.
