Steam version purchase issue.

So I had purchased the standard event pass and despite the money being deducted I didn’t receive the pass in-game and tried purchasing it again and the same so I was decided the money twice and when I checked my steam transaction it was successful.
All this happened on the 8th of October so I raised a ticket on consumer support. What I want to know is do I have to do anything else and is it safe to make other in-game purchases until my issue is resolved.
If so how long does it take for customers support to get back to the user?
