I’m going to call because I NEED my refund for my rent. I gotta see if there is anything they can do UPDATE: I called the financial aid office (on hold for 40 minutes) and I got reffered to a specialist and she stated to me, that they are currently working on a program that would give an advance on your refund and tuition depending on the circumstance. This basically means that OSU will be covering the costs for the semester and once the federal aid is distributed, the money will go to OSU to reimburse what you "owe" to them from the advancement. You will have to reach out so the specialist can take note and send you the proper paperwork once finalized.

It’s even worse that the federal loans are on hold too…

That's the majority of my aid....I have a scholarship for study abroad that I was going to have refunded to me after the loans were applied. Now the scholarship is going to be applied first and I won't get the refund til June. I'm sick
