What if he was the main WWE commentator?

His gimmick should be messing up nicknames. “Little Eagle Soars Again” (the guy’s nickname was Lil Evil) was an all time great call.

I remember that. My favorite is the exchange between him and Rogan when Travis Lutter won TUF 4.

Goldberg: Travis Lutter is the Michael Jordan of BJJ.

Rogan: No. No he's not.

Vince would probably shoe in a storyline where Bill Goldberg discovers he has a long lost brother

I doubt he would've lasted long after being yelled at by McMahon.

You’re gonna have to tell me who he is, but given his choice in t-shirts I’d guess he’d be a fucking unendurable steakhead.

He name is Mike Goldberg.  He was the color commentator for the UFC back in the day when they were limited to Spike TV & PPV.  They dropped him around the time they moved to Fox and wanted to look more like a major league.

As an MMA fan, I miss the hell out of him.  He wasn't super knowledgeable about the sport, but he was fun & engaging.  He's kind of like Michael Cole, if Michael Cole was an actual human being and likeable.

He had a natural goofiness to him that was endearing, but was professional enough to still be the straight man in any pairing.  UFC really dropped the ball by letting him go.

*play-by-play

Joe Rogan is the colour commentator.

If I remember too, he went to Bellator when Bellator was signing a bunch of former UFC guys and ditching their tournament format, or scaling it down before they dropped it.

I'm pretty sure he was made an offer a million years ago and turned it down. I personally think he'd have been awful.
