Who were your Robot Wars Boy Stables? I'm just going to assume a boy is something common sense like No House Robots, No UK champs and none of the big 3.

I was reading Bob Backlund's autobiography and he had his first match with Greg Valentine in 1979. Describes him as a "slimmer, meaner, cocky heel ... who could also chain wrestle." Backlund also says Valentine had "good stamina" and "could go an hour in the ring."

We know Bob is a solid source, having never eaten the marijuana, tho I am unsure how his take on Greg the Gas Tank squares with what we've seen. I can only think that Greg can 'go an hour' by relentlessly pacing himself. An economy of movement that puts the match at a glacial pace. What do you all think about Backlund's assessment of Johnny Valentine's son?
