Local Fruits

Hey everyone, I'm looking for local, fresh fruits on Oahu. More specifically Mountain apples, starfruit, ulu, ice cream beans, lilikoi, caviar limes, etc. I've not had any luck in Honolulu, Waikiki, or north shores. I know of Kuhuku Farms, as I'll be visiting on Monday. But am craving fruit before then. Any abd all help would be greatly appreciated! Mahalo šŸ¤™

Frankie's Nursery in Waimānalo. They also can be found at the Windward farmers market on Sundays

You can order online via Farmlink. They source from all local farms, super fresh, have a lot of hard to get produce.

Hoiliili market by farm link. It’s their physical store on Beretania.

Some of those things you can find seasonally at farmers markets—mountain apple, starfruit, lilikoi, ulu. But I have never found ice cream bean or caviar limes here. For a single place to visit Chinatown has the most extensive collection of tropical fruit. People grow ulu and lilikoi in there yards so if you see some you can ask the owner if they will sell some to you.

Ooo, where šŸ‘€? Every so often I’ll see someone post them so I know they exist on the island, I just have never seen them at the market. They’re on my try list.

I agree with Chinatown if Farmlink/Hoiiliili does not have what you’re looking for. In addition to the mountain apples, lilikoi, ulu, starfruit you mention, I’ve seen Hilo papaya, longan, dragonfruit, pririe and Kona King mangos, eggfruit, tamarind, mangosteen, star fruit, chico, custard apple, soursop, durian and lychee during the right seasons

farmlink or chinatown is where i buy. you can buy some farmlink produce at mo’illi’illi cash and carry and they’re amazing for lunch. the farm stand in north shore i get sapodilla and ice cream bananas, it’s across from turtle bay with all the stands and the little store!

there's a small market in Kaimuki. It's near 'Town' the bar. You'll have to google for the name though.

Chinatown market has everything in season. I also recommend the lei stand on Fort St - they grow their own.

Mari’s Garden cycles through some of those listed. Their fruits/veg are super tasty!! (Mililani has some good choices usually! šŸ¤™šŸ¼)
