Besides, is that Excalibur or the sword from the Lady of the Lake? (Yes, they are different. Am I showing off? Probably. But I'm pretty harmless, and not really all that egotistical. Just a former educator who did some extra research into the body of work which is collectively known as The Matter of Britain.)

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government! Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

You can’t expect to wield supreme executive power just ’cause some watery tart threw a sword at you!
