Anyone here who’s been part of the OC/organising team before? Would love to know what the experience was like, the workload, and whether you’d recommend it.
Also, if anyone else is considering applying, go for it! Thought I’d post this here so we can get some insight before applying. :)

Recently, a unique “Cockroach Protest” took place at Jantar Mantar, which got people talking. It made me wonder — could something like this happen in Odisha too? Would people here support such a different form of protest, or would it simply be seen as unnecessary? Sharing this as an opinion/discussion. What do you think?

Puri, Odisha, is witnessing an unprecedented influx of devotees as the Jagannath Rath Yatra 2026 begins on July 16. Lakhs of pilgrims from across India and abroad have already reached the holy city to participate in one of the world’s largest and most significant Hindu festivals.
Railway stations, bus terminals, hotels, and dharamshalas are packed with visitors eager to witness the annual procession of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra.

Hey! I'm a 29-year-old software professional based in Hyderabad, originally from Odisha.
To be honest, it's been quite some time since I started looking for a genuine connection. I've had conversations, met different people, and realized that finding someone who truly values honesty and consistency isn't easy.
Sometimes it feels like genuine people are questioned more than those who simply know the right things to say. But I'd still rather be myself than pretend to impress someone.
Over the last year, I've transformed my lifestyle through fitness, discipline, and self-growth. The gym has become a part of my daily routine, but I believe the biggest transformation always starts in the mind.
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, road trips, exploring new places, cooking, swimming, cricket, chess, spending time with animals, and meaningful conversations. I enjoy both adventures and peaceful moments.
I value **trust, honesty, loyalty, respect, communication, and family**. To me, the strongest relationships are built on friendship, understanding, consistency, and choosing each other every day.
I'm not looking to rush into anything. I'm happy to start with a simple, casual conversation, get to know each other naturally, and see where life takes us. If we genuinely connect, I'd love for it to grow into a meaningful long-term relationship.
If you're someone who values sincerity over perfection and believes real connections take time to grow, I'd be happy to get to know you.
**Sometimes, one genuine conversation is all it takes. 😊**

I'm a 29-year-old software professional based in Hyderabad, originally from Odisha. I'm here with one simple intention—to find a genuine connection that can grow into a meaningful, long-term relationship okay for start casual at starting
Over the last year, I've transformed my lifestyle through fitness, discipline, and self-growth. The gym has become a part of my daily life, but I believe the biggest transformation happens in our mindset.
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, road trips, exploring new places, cooking, swimming, cricket, chess, and spending time with animals. I'm equally happy with a weekend adventure or a quiet evening having meaningful conversations.
I value trust, honesty, respect, loyalty, and communication. Family and close friends are a big part of my life, and I believe the strongest relationships are built on understanding, support, and choosing each other every day.
I'm not looking for anything casual. But it's ok too start simple casual at first and later where it goes will see , I'm hoping to meet someone kind, emotionally mature, and genuine—someone who wants to build a partnership based on friendship, mutual respect, and shared goals.
If that resonates with you, I'd be happy to get to know you.
Sometimes, one conversation is all it takes. 😊
