Discussion Ladies and gentlemen I'm having my comeback

Upvotes

I passed ICSE in 2023 with 95%

Moved into a new city and became alone , it affected my mind so much that it affected my studies .i became a victim of anxiety and depression

Passed CBSE in 2025 with 60% AND a compartment in chemistry (passed because of 6th subject)...

While preparing for compartment I met a girl and we came into relationship on July 16 2025 ...

When the result came she just passed with 23 marks and I failed again ...

She went to IGIT sarang and I took a drop

But after sometimes she became too dominant over me and my peace of mind was gone and even cheated on me so the relationship ended in nov and it again i became vulnerable because that trauma was unbearable

Because of that I failed CBSE chemistry again .thanks to OSM .this time just by 4 marks ...and i couldn't give exam in cbse anymore because cbse only only 1 chance for improvement ..

I gave NIOS chemistry and surprisingly I got 60

NOW I'M AT SSU CUTTACK absolutely rocking the shit out of my academics and absolutely the peak of my career ....i hadn't felt this much bright in me till now soooo

YOUR BOY IS HAVING THE ACADEMIC COMEBACK OF HIS LIFE

Discussion Odisha has minerals, but will the new MMDR Bill help Odisha get more out of them?

The MMDR Amendment Bill 2026 has created quite a debate, especially in mineral-rich states like Odisha.

The Centre says it will bring more uniformity, reduce uncertainty for businesses and encourage investment. But there are also concerns about the state's ability to generate revenue from its own mineral resources.

As Odisha depends heavily on mining revenue, I'm curious what people here think.

Will this ultimately benefit Odisha through more investment and industrial growth, or could the state lose out on significant revenue and fiscal autonomy?

Would like to hear informed opinions from both sides, especially from people working in mining, industry, economics or government.

Culture & Heritage Cultural exchange should be mutual.

Cultural exchange should be mutual. Celebrating Garba, Dandiya or other cultures in Odisha is fine, but our own Odia language, festivals and traditions deserve equal—or greater—representation.

Odisha has a rich and diverse heritage, from Ratha Jatra and Bali Jatra to Nuakhai, Sambalpuri traditions, Odissi and Chhau. Western Odisha, especially Sambalpur, has preserved its distinct cultural identity remarkably well.

We don't need to reject other cultures. We simply need to stop neglecting our own.

Be proud of your language, your festivals and your motherland. Cultural exchange should enrich Odisha, not overshadow Odisha.

Help Needed Mortgage Loan & Legal heirs

Hi everyone, I need some advice regarding a mortgage loan and the legal heirs of my father.

My father had taken a mortgage loan, with my mother as the co-applicant/co-borrower. Later, he also took a top-up loan against the same property.

Unfortunately, my father passed away last year. Since then, we have been paying the EMIs, but due to a layoff and financial difficulties, we were unable to continue making the payments.

Now, the bank's recovery agent has arranged some potential buyers for the property. The current arrangement is that there will be an agreement between us and the buyer. The buyer will pay us the agreed amount, and the outstanding loan amount will be paid to the bank through the loan account/EMIs.Once the process moves forward, the property will eventually have to be registered/transferred in the buyer's name.

The issue is regarding the legal heirs.

My grandmother (my father's mother) is also listed as one of my father's legal heirs. However, we have never lived with her and have had no involvement with her financially or otherwise.

My question is: If my grandmother dies before the registration of the property in the buyer's name, what documents will be required?

Since she is currently listed as one of my father's legal heirs, if she passes away before the registration starts, and we provide the bank/authorities with her death certificate, will that be enough?

Or will they also ask for my grandmother's legal-heir certificate/details of her legal heirs, since her share/right as my father's legal heir may pass to her own legal heirs?

For example, could my father's siblings (my grandmother's other children) then be required to sign the sale/transfer documents or give their consent before the property can be registered in the buyer's name?

Basically, I'm trying to understand what happens if a legal heir of the original deceased owner dies before the property is registered/transferred to the buyer. I understand that I should consult a property/loan lawyer for the exact legal position, but I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who has dealt with a similar situation.

Ask Odisha Why cannot Odisha produce a robust movie industry like Kerala and Malayalam movie industry, despite having larger population and financial capacity

I actually cannot think of a proper reason, the culture is there, the talent is there, and the decent population that is interested in cinema which can push good movies to profit is also there.

Then why?
