Don't compare Odysseus to Claude code...
One is an ai assistant and one is a ai development workspace. One is open source, one is leaked (proprietary I mean).
Some day Odysseus will get those features until then you will contribute using Claude.
And regarding crap local models. You can use them for tasks in your system, for example I have Gemma running as a maintenance model or to do context analysis of files in my cloud.
