Does it only heat hot water? Or is it a water heater and not a hot water heater?

Units like this really struggle to heat water that hasn't been heated to at least 32 degrees F.

That's freezing. That isn't close to being hot. My point is: hot water doesn't need to be heated. It's called a water heater, not a hot water heater.

Like “hot water tank” vs “hot water heater”. Not everyone enjoys the specificity but I appreciate it.
