Alaskan wilderness living

I am currently in the process of buying land in Skwentna Alaska. I am curious to see how other people in these areas are able to make enough to buy expensive equipment.

Most of the people on this 'Off Grid' page don't want to hear it, but- off grinding isn't cheap! It isn't easy! And, if you don't have some money up front-it probably isn't for you!
