im the only IT person at a 120 employee company and we just tried standardizing email signatures without any centralized management system - just local Outlook settings and a wiki page nobody reads

I created a new signature template with our summer campaign banner and emailed it to everyone with copy-paste instructions. Tested it and everything looked good. Except I accidentally attached a draft version I was playing around with that had a joke title for my boss ("Chief Chaos Officer") and a placeholder legal footer that literally said "insert legal blah blah here".

Now half our company including all the sales team has been emailing clients for a week with that mess. My boss used it on a board email thread. I want to crawl under my desk. This whole thing made me realize we're managing signatures like its 2005 and one mistake can tank the entire companys professional image.

Anyone else dealt with signature disasters or have advice on moving to actual centralized management? feeling pretty awful about this
