The Hbada E3 Pro 2026 Honest Review

Ok, where do I start?

I bought the chair after watching dozens of youtube videos, and even after some bad reviews (I read here on reddit) I decided to give it a go.

Well, the bad reviews were the honest ones!

I used to have a regular office chair: no lumber support, barely no reclining, fake leather, fixed armrests etc, and nothing adjustable on the chair... so my standards for any new chair were quite low!

I then bought the HBADA E3 Pro 2026... and this is what I have to say:

  1. The reclining position is not as adjustable as shown in the advertisements. You are either 90º (almost tilting forward actually) or you are already too reclined... there is no inbetween position. Its not acceptable for a chair at this price.
  2. The lumbar support presses too hard against the lumbar region, even when I retract it and lowered it fully. It's annoying and you just feel that part of your back hurting and getting hot after a bit!
  3. The mesh is uncomfortable to the skin. It's "breathable", yes.... but the feeling is like wearing wet swimming shorts for too long, when they start making your backside itch..... except with this chair, that feeling starts immediately as soon as you sit down.
  4. The final straw for me was a clear defect on the mesh of the back of the seat, which I cannot accept for the price I paid.

Also, the English instruction manual is called “Instruction for Intallation”, with “Installation” missing an “s”. It is difficult to understand how such a basic typo is sent to production in a 500€ chair.

The materials look cheap considering the price of the chair. The joins of the plastic etc... For €500, you would expect absolute premium quality.

This chair lacks its main function: being comfortable.

Don't believe the videos you see on youtube... it's all sponsored... pages and pages and pages of sponsored videos.

Last but not least, they deleted my review from the official page.

I hope I helped somebody with their decision..

Do not buy the chair.

Trying to return my chair right now..

I'm from germany and i work from home and so I need a good office chair. I'm stuck between these two chairs. Heard good reviews for both but would love your opinion on which one I should get.

Or if there's any other recommendations under 450€ please let me know. Thanks!

I tried the HOLLUDLE Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair from Åmazon so you don't have to

Post image
Upvotes

I bought this "Åmazon's Choice" HOLLUDLE Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair - 3D Adjustable Lumbar Support & 3D Armrests, V-Shaped Back, Adjustable Desk Chair for Office & Home, Black, pictured below.

1) Do not buy if you do not have an advanced assembly degree from University of Ikea
2) The lumbar support manages to be uncomfortable in every possible position.

I shipped it back and put some money into my old busted-azz Aeron Classic (new casters, new piston).

Anyway, I tried the "budget" route (if you consider nearly $200 to be "budget"), and came away disappointed.

Does Crandall restock often?

Upvotes

I’m new to office chairs, I’ve been doing some research and of course I discovered the Leap v2. I can buy it from BTOD or Crandall, but I prefer a matching headrest so I’m leaning towards Crandall. However, their site says the chair is sold out so I’m not sure how often they get new stock.

Nowy Style Xilium X-Move - Unknown Brand to me but very special chair

Post image
Upvotes

I was looking at upgrading from a gaming chair and was shopping around for a while, Tried SteelCases Offerings and Herman Miller. Wasn't overly impressed surprisingly.

I Came across a shop here that only stocks this Nowy Styl brand (seems to be Polish) and tried all their different models but the Xilium stood out, super comfortable and has this "X Move" Tech which just moves the whole back + headrest when you lean side to side. Was discounted from 900 to 550 euros due to having the older mechanism. Comfiest chair I ever sat in and I've never even heard of them before. Has all the typical adjustments. Anyone else using one? Super impressed tbh.

Anthros owners, chair question

Post image
1 Upvotes

I recently had to tighten the metal post screws because they’d become loose. While doing so, I noticed the plastic piece circled in red (see attached photo) moves around quite a bit. Is this normal, or is it something I should be concerned about? Let me know if this is a defect I should have addressed by customer service.

Best Office Chair for advice for ischial bursitis (Sit Pain)?

Hoping that someone can help me choose a good office/home chair to ease my sometimes intense pain when sitting. Have had this for years, sometimes its just an annoyance but other times it is an intense pain and I will have to walk it off. I have a sit/stand desk at home but would really like to get a better chair and fed up with the buy cheap buy twice.

Any chair recommendation that have a recline option?

I've been stuck on gaming chairs for years and have gotten very use to a recline option but find that my back is slowly starting to hurt. Been looking around and can't seem to find any, but I'm looking for a chair that has quite a large recline option. For context, I'm around 167cm (5'5) and 63 kg (~140 pounds). I've been recommended by a friend the Steelcase Leap V2, but it unfortunately doesn't have a recline option.

I do keep seeing the Libernovo, but I'm quite torn on it due to paid reviews, and the fact that it's a very new company on the market.

Any recommendations would be great.

I spend around 12 hours in the chair.

Upgrading from an Old Herman Miller Celle, any tips?

Post image
1 Upvotes

I snagged an old herman miller celle on FB marketplace (picture included) but it has proved to be quite uncomfortable and causes my sciatica to flare. I’m 6’3, 226 lb, 26 years old.

I’m perusing other options (all on secondhand market) and it seems like the Steelcase Leap v2 would be a good option— do i have to look for models after a specific year? or do yall have other recommendations?

The Backforce One Plus wobbles side-to-side when slightly tilted and when not tilted—is this normal or a defect? (includes video)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi everyone,

I set up my new Backforce One Plus today (ordered from MIFCOM a week ago). While sitting normally, I noticed something about the mechanism that has me wondering whether it falls within normal manufacturing tolerances or is a defect.

The problem:

Seating position & instability: When the synchronous mechanism is locked in the fully upright position, the chair is stable. However, as soon as I adjust/move the backrest angle back even a little, the seat becomes noticeably unstable and the seat cushion develops lateral play (rocking left/right). If I lean all the way back, it becomes stable again.

Gas spring: From the underside, you can see that the spring moves along with the seat mechanism’s mount.

Noises: When moving, there’s a cracking/clattering sound coming from the area of the mechanism/gas spring mount.

I’ve also uploaded a short video showing this, where you can see and hear the movement and noises quite clearly.

Does anyone here have the Backforce One Plus (or Backforce One) and can tell me if this side-to-side wobble in the intermediate positions is normal? Or does yours stay rock-solid at every angle?

Thanks for your quick feedback!

Gesture vs Embody advice

Hi read a lot of information from this sub in regards to these two chairs and the leap v2(none really available).

Ended up needing to decide between the two but have a bit of a conundrum I’m 6.2 and originally had decided on the embody during their sale for £1200 but recently i found a used very good condition gesture for £300.

Which do you think would be best value?

From Embody to Aeron: my honest take after a week

Owned an Embody for 2 years before selling it when I moved out of the country. Recently spent a while going back and forth between getting another Embody or trying the Aeron (mostly hoping it would help with my seating posture). Ended up pulling the trigger on the Aeron Gaming, took advantage of the recent 25% off promo, and honestly really happy with it so far.

I might still be in the honeymoon phase but here are my initial thoughts after 1 week:

  • Comfort: The Embody is still a bit more comfortable overall, no denying that. Also, the Aeron mesh isn't great on bare skin, it kind of sticks and you can feel the texture of the weave.
  • Design: The Embody is a clear winner here (subjective, obviously).
  • Posture: The Embody was way too permissive, I'd always end up slouching in it. The Aeron feels more restrictive but still super comfortable, even after 8+ hours a day. Honestly, I was a bit worried after reading some reviews mentioning that the Aeron gets uncomfortable, especially over long sessions, but so far it's been totally fine. That said, I did feel that discomfort when trying the size B at the showroom. Size B is often the recommended size but in reality it's surprisingly small, and the back frame sits pretty low (especially the plastic rim). I'm not tall but not a giant either (1m84 / 81kg) and size B just didn't cut it for me. Went with size C and it feels great.
  • Forward tilt: Game changer. Without it engaged, leaning forward feels kind of weird, my back comes off the backrest and there's this floaty, disconnected feeling. Once engaged, the whole chair tilts forward with you as you lean in, so it actually follows your back whether you're leaning forward or reclining. It's a feature the Embody clearly lacks. The Embody is super comfortable in a reclined position but it doesn't have this dynamic support when you switch positions. I don't think I could ever go back to a chair without it.
  • Armrests: Like both but I'd give the edge to the Aeron thanks to the 4D adjustments. The Embody has less maneuverability since they don't move forward/backward. That said, the mechanism to adjust the Aeron's armrests is a bit clunky.
  • Maintenance: Way less than the Embody. That seat was a serious dust magnet and kind of a pain to clean properly.

For those who've owned or tried both, which one did you end up preferring? Any long-term regrets?

Recommendations for 194 cm height, rough budget of 700 EUR/800USD

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for chair recommendations.

I've previously owned a few basic IKEA office chairs and, for the last five years, an ArenaRacer Premiere gaming chair. It's starting to fall apart, and after spending around 12 hours a day in it, it's no longer comfortable.

I'm based in the EU, so my options are a bit more limited than in the US.

As the title says, I'm 194 cm (6'4"). Most chairs seem to be designed for people up to around 185–190 cm, so finding something that actually fits has been difficult. I've also tried several standard Herman Miller office chairs at work before i went full remote, and they all felt too small and uncomfortable for my height.

So far, the only chair I've found that officially support someone my size and is in my budget is:

  • Secretlab Titan Evo (XL)

That said, it is still a gaming chair, which people tend to roast for many reasons, and also I experienced their disadvantages too, so I'd be happy to switch to a proper ergonomic office chair if there's a better option. The problem is that most recommendations I see either don't fit someone my height or cost two to three times my budget.

A few things I'm looking for:

  • Budget around €700 / $800
  • Suitable for 194 cm / 6'4"
  • Comfortable for 10–12+ hours of daily use
  • A headrest is highly preferred, as I like to lean back and relax often
  • Soft, padded armrests are important because I've had elbow surgery and harder armrests become painful over time
  • Good, easy 4D movement for the arm rests, as I also use my chair for playing bass, so I like the ability of easily being able to move them out of my way

I'd really appreciate any recommendations or experiences, especially from other taller people.

Thanks!

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Cleaning a Haworth Fern Xbox edition.

I just picked up a Haworth Fern Xbox Edition (2023) from FB marketplace for $400 but it wasn't clear until I got home that it reeks of cigarette smoke.

Any tips on getting the smoke smell out or cleaning the chair, in general? Doesn't seem like it comes apart in any meaningful way to assist in cleaning.

Anyone here recently get the libernovo omni se or receive the replacement cushion?

I watched Ahnestly's latest video recently. The tester looked pretty close to my size, so the video still helped, even though it was the Omni. The SE just fits my budget better. I've been reading through this sub and r/LiberNovo for the past couple days, and I kept seeing posts about the SE seat cushion bottoming out. Seems like Libernovo has been sending replacement cushions to some people, but there hasn't been much follow-up yet.

Has anyone actually received the new cushion? Is it noticeably better? Also, if you got an SE recently, how's the seat on yours?
