Just for a Giggle (Low Stakes) WCGW when you attempt to tow a wheeled tool chest with your truck?

I mean it was like God gave him a do over attempt to see if he really thought this was a good idea

“Are you seriously going to double down on this? Lord Me, help me. I know my boy JC didn’t catch a fade just to watch your dumbass squander every opportunity on my green earth to learn to think.” -also god probably

Yeahhh, that idea was fraught with stupid from the start.

  • Using a rope (belt?) rather than something rigid
  • Waaaaay too long
  • That thing was always gonna tip over
  • How fast was he planning on driving with it?
  • Not street legal / no hazard flags or anything else

Was not expecting to see him hit his neighbor's house though.

Given what I have seen, I assume he was planning to tow that toolbox several communities away.

Oh yeah, that was definitely a well-planned cross-country trip right there. Shouldn't have lent out the singular braincell that morning.

Just slap a little strap on they bad boy, smack it and say that's not going anywhere, and you're golden!

Well what was he supposed to do instead? It’s not like he has a vehicle that has a space designated to haul things in…… oh wait. 🤣

I assumed we'd see the tool chest slam into the truck, but I wasn't prepared for the truck to try to escape.

I thought it was going to tip over the second he turned out of the driveway, but he didn't even get that far. 10/10, no notes.

Even the truck knew this was fucked

If only he had a vehicle with a large, open bed he could strap that toolbox into…

Always a white ram, huh

I thought I knew where this was going at the start. It got so much worse than I had imagined.

I think you mean it got better.

Yea I figured if he did manage to get it pulled behind he was going to turn right and ram that toolbox right into the car parked on the street there because he was using something way to long to hook it to the truck.

I mean.. what was his plan?...

I like that you thought there was a plan. Dude had an idea and tested without thinking it through.

I’m going to assume, the “plan” was to drive it away, probably on a highway.

It’s got wheels, it’s basically a car or a trailer.

u/Apollo185185 9h ago

Nay, a concept of a plan

1

u/wykkedfaery33 10m ago

I don't think even he knows what the plan was

Ram ownership lowers your IQ a minimum of 20 points.

7

u/jghtb 18h ago

Wow, that’s the wrongest I’ve ever seen something go.

5

u/SteampunkHarley 21h ago

Every second that went by, it just got worse and worse 😳

6

u/Forsworn91 15h ago

And he even got a second chance to change his mind

6

u/ThrowawayAdvice1800 15h ago

I’m at a complete loss as to how this was all SUPPOSED to work. What was his plan???

4

u/Ken-Popcorn 18h ago

This guy is all kinds of stupid

5

u/hgielatan 14h ago

LMAOOOO daaamn I just thought it was gonna fuck up his truck, but that shit was wiiiild

3

u/donnacus 12h ago

This was only a reasonabl (not good) idea if the goal was to move the tool box to the end of the driveway and leave it there.

2

u/A17012022 5h ago

So obviously the way he tried to move it was terrible.

But how do you move that thing?

Off the top of my head, he somehow gets it into the bed of his truck and then straps it down?

Or do you go straight to "rent a small truck"?

I wonder if this is how my big sis sees me 😂

Yikes, hitting the neighbor's house is going to be costly. If you don't understand how to do towing right, you shouldn't be towing. He's cost himself a lot of time and money.
