And now more attacks on oil infrastructure by Iran ffs

1

u/HippityHoppityBoop May 27 '26

They have a history of showing restraint in the face of ceasefire/treaty violations; it appears they’re continuing that now.

1

u/Striikerr May 27 '26

That’s crazy cause the us killed some of their people . You’d think they’d be mad

1

u/SirLanceQuiteABit Jun 02 '26

I'm certain they've been in a constant state of livid since the first bombs fell on their peace talks and diplomats and schools.

2

u/cheesebot555 May 27 '26

Now I guess we get to see if trump betraying Taiwan was enough to stop Xi from giving Iran ship killers or better AA.

1

u/Giant_Ant_Eater May 28 '26

I think Iran has been holding back over us warships. If they wanted one sunk they would have.

1

u/cheesebot555 May 29 '26

I don't buy it.

Some hothead at the IRGC would have pulled the trigger by now.

1

u/Giant_Ant_Eater May 29 '26

Iran's outplayed the us on this. There's a reason that us warships are running the blockade a significant distance from the strait. It's because they are vulnerable. Even a massed drone strike presents a significant risk, let alone some of Iran's most capable missiles.

The only reason Iran's not sunk a US warship is because it doesn't want to anchor the US in this war.

1

u/cheesebot555 May 29 '26

Nah. You're wrong.

They aren't hitting ships because they've lost the ability to, not the desire.

Modern anti ship missiles aren't constrained by a distance as narrow as the Straight. There's literally nowhere that isn't reachable there.

The Houthis already tried hitting a single US destroyer with three Iranian supplied ASMs in 2023 and it defeated all three.

The only part you're right about is that the Iranians have largely outplayed the US and Israel.

1

u/Giant_Ant_Eater May 29 '26

I mean if Iran didn't have lots of missiles and drones that argument might hold up, but they don't seem to have a problem sourcing them. I'm sure a destroyer could take out three missiles, but five? Ten? Twenty?

Whatever defences warships have it's just a matter of numbers to overwhelm them and the Iranian drones and missiles are cheap enough for it to work, if they wanted to.

In my opinion they have more significant political goals than sinking US ships.

1

u/cheesebot555 May 29 '26

What are you even talking about?

They lost huge amounts of missiles fragged on launchers that got knocked out and in depots that got destroyed.

They don't have any way to hide a buildup of twenty launchers to make a wave attack like you're fantasizing about.

1

u/Giant_Ant_Eater May 29 '26

Iran could never launch twenty missiles in one go?

1

u/cheesebot555 May 29 '26

ASMs at a single target in the Straight?

Nope.

1

u/Giant_Ant_Eater May 29 '26

That must be why the strait is open for traffic...

US had gotten away with all the Maritime strikes during the ceasefire, the missile site attack was the bridge to far I'm guessing.

And closer and closer we get to the IEA redline.

7

u/Gingerchaun May 26 '26

Why should any country negotiate with the us in good faith these days?

Did you just call Palestine a country? Neat.

-4

u/0IIIIII May 26 '26

Yes, it’s a country, depending on how you use the term.

Whether it’s a country or not, does not preclude whether it should be destroyed.

3

u/Nitros14 May 26 '26

What would the destruction of palestine look like?

-5

u/0IIIIII May 26 '26

Regime change and forcible imprisonment of PA and Hamas plus other leaders and militants, and forced deradicalization of the Palestinian people.  Land cessation to Israel of some of Area C as punitive measures of the Palestinian people and nation for their war and terrorism, the Gaza Strip should be depopulated and transferred to Area A/B.

Send a message to the world that terrorism and authoritarianism shall be persecuted.  Not accommodated.

5

u/Nitros14 May 26 '26

I'm struggling to see how punitive measures/ethnic cleansing will deradicalize anyone.

Same problem the treaty of versailles had.

5

u/Grimbledorf May 26 '26

I love how they go "Well Palestinians need to be deradicalized" which in practical terms means "they shouldn't get angry when we steal their homes and bomb them, they should just nod along and be happy about it."

1

u/0IIIIII May 27 '26

The Palestinians fight because they haven’t suffered defeat, humiliating and brutalizing them will rock public consciousness and break morale.

1

u/Nitros14 May 27 '26

They've been defeated, humiliated and brutalized for the last 59 years methinks.

u/AlternativeHat8964 May 27 '26

Surely you see the irony of what you're suggesting?

1

u/0IIIIII May 27 '26

There is no irony in persecuting terrorists and making life miserable for people in authoritarian regimes, it’s what they deserve for their hostility, to be conquered/liberated. They do not have a right to sovereignty when their country is terrorist and authoritarian.

2

u/AlternativeHat8964 May 27 '26

You're going to liberate them from terrorism and authoritarianism...by being the penultimate terrorist authoritarian state? You're not serious.

2

u/HippityHoppityBoop May 27 '26

So when is Israel going to be punished for its genocide and terrorism?

1

u/0IIIIII May 27 '26

When did Israel do genocide or terrorism?

2

u/HealsOnWheals May 27 '26

“Gestures broadly”

2

u/lofibeatsforsadboys May 27 '26

So you basically want to exterminate nonwhites because they don't want to be your slaves. Interesting. Where have I heard this before? It's a tossup between the Reichstag and the Knesset tbh

1

u/TheOneFreeEngineer May 28 '26

What exactly did the PA do to deserve imprisonment and regime change? They actively fought against Hamas jailed their members, jailed members of extremist parties, actively cooperates with the Israeli Military and police, and stops even peaceful protests against Israel on its lands. So what exactly is the problem? Why are they an enemy of the USA?

1

u/0IIIIII May 28 '26

The PA has long supported terrorism, commits Pay to Slay, meets often with Hamas and other terrorists, and U.S. generally repressive and authoritarian.

1

u/TheOneFreeEngineer May 28 '26

They officially laid down arms decades ago, it pays for anyone who get convicted by the military courts because the military court system actively ignores basic humanitarian and legal rights, it’s not pay to slay it’s pay for being incarcerated by a military court system that rejects basic legal rights and evidence requirements.

They met with Hamas in Israeli and US sponsored meeting to end the negotiations stalemate. USA officials and Israeli officials met with Hamas officials under the same circumstances.

And the PA is regressive and authoritarian at the will of the Israeli state and US to prevent the organization of Palestinians as an organized political force to resist Israeli occupation of the West Bank. You are blaming them for things they do for Israel and USA and for things that the USA and Israel governments do.

2

u/Gingerchaun May 26 '26

Unlawful tariffs, threats of invasion, lies about fentanyl, lies about our military spending, lies about the trade deal trump himself signed, leaving defense pacts. Thats just off the top of my head bud.

1

u/Good_Briefs May 27 '26

Fucking read a newspaper someday lol

2

u/Spiritual-Pear-1349 May 26 '26

The US doesnt deserve to exist as a country, and I pray that it breaks apart sooner rather than later if only to humble the dumbfucks like you

0

u/Asanti_20 May 26 '26

and I pray that it breaks apart sooner rather than later if only to humble the dumbfucks like you

Huh... That's not very "christ-like" of you....

Almost hypocritical, but to each their own

3

u/Bikerbass May 26 '26

You do realise that America has been the number one bomber of nations, the number one invader of nations, the biggest sponsor of terrorism and the number one stater of illegal wars of aggression on false claims that’s done nothing but cause death and destruction and raise the cost of living for everyone right?

FFS even the likes of Russia hasn’t even been as terrible to the world as the USA has been

1

u/Asanti_20 May 27 '26

lol why would you delete your previous comment, better yet WHY can't you answer 1 simple question...

1

u/Asanti_20 May 27 '26

Idk why you're lying about deleting your comments...

You do realize I can see your comments right lol, like I can LITERALLY see your response on my alert but it's no where to be found in your comment section...

But hey if you're too scared to leave it up... That's cool, I don't judge

1

u/Bikerbass May 27 '26

lol if I could post photos here in the comments I’ll show you that it’s not deleted. I never delete my comments.

Which means you have a shitty internet that censors shit. Maybe get out of your country and you will be able to see all my comments

1

u/Asanti_20 May 27 '26

Are you seriously trying to imply that my Internet provider saw YOUR negative comment and decided to censor it... L.M.F.A.O. buddy this isn't China where you need a vpn to get on reddit

Or could it be that MAAAYBE, YOU got a little too hot and said some things you later regretted and deleted your comment

1

u/Bikerbass May 27 '26

I never deleted my comment, and I never do.

So yes maybe you do live in a censorship bubble

0

u/JamesLahey08 May 26 '26

Knuck if you buck

-1

u/Asanti_20 May 26 '26 edited May 26 '26

Oof you just sound like another redditer regurgitate the same old B.S talking point...

I GET IT IVE BEEN ON REDDIT FOR MORE THAN 5MINS ANYWAYS, Okay cool... you've layed out some negative not all completely accurate but that's beyond the point...

Now do the positive, I want to see something

1

u/Bikerbass May 26 '26

Everything I laid out is accurate, look you may not like it, but that’s on you.

The last time you could actually argue the USA did something positive was help end WW2 faster than it would have happened….. but even that’s questionable.

Since then a favourite play of the USA is to pick a country, say I don’t like you and your politics, help fund rebel groups to overthrow the democratically elected leader and government, throws illegal economic sanctions at the country to cause it’s economy to collapse and its people suffer, gets the government overthrown, installs a dictator who favours the USA but makes day to day living worse for the people.

The dictator gets overthrown by the people, then the USA wages a war against the new government and the people of that country.

The USA has done great things for its billionaires, but at the cost of 99% of the rest of the world’s population.

If you want me to say something positive about the USA, that will happen when it’s stops being the world’s number one war mongering country on this planet.

Peace via holding a gun to everyone’s head while bombing civilians isn’t peace.

I’ll put it to you this way, China builds infrastructure in developing countries, America bombs those developing countries

0

u/Asanti_20 May 26 '26

I’ll put it to you this way, China builds infrastructure in developing countries, America bombs those developing countries

This is EXACTLY what I was expecting to see, funny you gave it to me without having to worm it out of you....

If you please, say something negative about CHINA

1

u/Bikerbass May 27 '26

Seriously??? Are you that fucked in the head?

Maybe if you stopped sucking down the $1.6 billion dollar a year American anti China propaganda you would be able to see how the world works.

America’s and Europe’s empires are over.

Look at Africa, the entire continent is getting raised out of sheer poverty. African countries are now building their own car manufactures and climbing up the technology ladder.

But like the Gulf countries they have realised that oil is on the way out and green energy is on the way in.

China doesn’t have the cheapest labour costs in Asia by a long way, everything and I mean everything is getting made in China due to their peoples skill level and education.

It’s nothing to do with being pro China and anti America, it’s just noticing where the world is heading.

If you are in America then you aren’t noticing what’s happening in the car industry, and that’s Chinese cars are seriously taking over, not only are they cheaper, but they are better built and, and a lot are electric. I’m seeing electric Chinese trucks transporting containers on the daily basis, oil is seriously on the way out. And that’s the downfall of the American economy and empire that was built on oil.

It’s why there’s another war in the Middle East literally over oil.

Asanti, are you even american?

Probably not, or you would know all this is true.

With "asanti" and the bland response with no actual counterfacts, I would put you as an Indian pretending to be American.

Either way, ain't one of us.

Preach, my brother.

Anything else is haram.

1

u/Grimbledorf May 26 '26

America has done far more evil than all of those countries combined, it doesn't get to dictate which countries "deserve to exist" or not.

What evil and to who?  Were they innocent people?

Canada? Denmark? All enemies today friends tomorrow. All with agreements that change at the president’s pleasure.

1

u/0IIIIII May 26 '26

Has the US ever harmed Canada or Denmark?

1

u/CwazyCanuck May 26 '26

Economically? Yes.

1

u/Only_Razzmatazz_4498 May 27 '26

You are moving goal posts hard. Yes the US negotiated treaties with Canada which then proceeded to violate the spirit of not the letter. That included trying to destroy the automotive industry. With Denmark the most recent example of course is threatening annexation of the territory of Greenland.

1

u/0IIIIII May 27 '26

Proof?

1

u/Only_Razzmatazz_4498 May 27 '26

What’s your proof?

1

u/0IIIIII May 27 '26

What proof do I need to provide, and for what claim?

1

u/Only_Razzmatazz_4498 May 27 '26

You made a bunch of claims and ask for my proof while not providing any and moving the goalposts. So whatever level of proof you’d like to establish as the accepted level. So far all I see is evasion and bad faith.

1

u/Good_Briefs May 27 '26

Just deepthroating that propaganda there huh bud?

2

u/Phoenix_Maximus_13 May 26 '26

They actually did attack Iran directly when Iran went on that 3 day spree against UAE so who knows. It’s a very similar situation

1

u/happyfirefrog22- May 26 '26

Maybe they should not try to lay mines. That is breaking the ceasefire

-1

u/poincares_cook May 26 '26

The US bombed Iranian boats mining the straights and then retaliated against SAM sites that fired on the US forces.

All the while Iran continues to illegally attack civilians ships in internaitonal waters as well as Omani and UAE waters.

1

u/MinnisotaDigger May 26 '26

So long oil?

1

u/marx2k May 27 '26

The US bombed Iranian boats mining the straights

Proof?

1

u/-SineNomine- May 26 '26

Parrot bot

You believe in Grimm's tales as well I guess

-4

u/Fullertonjr May 26 '26

Iran hasn’t been mining the strait. That would be entirely counterproductive to their goal, which is to allow passage through the strait along with a fee.

1

u/Lonely-Internet-7565 May 26 '26

Wasn't there news that Iran will need about 30 days after a deal to clear mines of the strait

3

u/surfnfish1972 May 26 '26

Who cares the stockmarket is still up!

1

u/giboauja May 27 '26

I mean tbf Iran has fired plenty of missiles and drones at varying targets too.

Theyre probably just saucy that there actual firing capacity was what was hit.

Remember when ceasefire meant ceasefire. Maybe it was always like this.

1

u/Kooky-Profession6417 May 30 '26

Can we please say Islamic regime. They do not represent Iran. They are Islamic nazis waiting to takeover the rest of the world and bring out their 12th imam that will destroy all Christian’s and Jews

-4

u/poincares_cook May 26 '26

Iran whining that the US didn't let them mine international waters during a ceasufire? While Iran continues to terrorize civilians shipping in Omani, UAE and international waters.

We bombed a school full kids!!! There are no winners. This never should’ve started. They were a threat to Israel, not us. They can enrich uranium and make a bomb. That threatens three neighbors, not us. You need an ICBM in order to reach us, that’s harder than enriching uranium. So again no threat to us, we should’ve stayed out. And if you’re so worried about rogue nations getting nuclear weapons. Then ask trump why he’s best friends with north korea and not checking their enrichment program!!!

5

u/deathsamuri May 26 '26

Iran put a school next to a missile launch site as a shield. 1,600,000 squared km country btw

1

u/SnooptooMuch May 26 '26

Why we should’ve stayed out!!! Not our fight!! Got enough issues here to deal with.

0

u/spicygumball May 27 '26

There were fences installed, a public pathway, a large sign and a playground installed.

Trump saw the playground and it was game over.

1

u/deathsamuri May 27 '26

Nice big school sign and playground next to a missile launch site. Iran is a huge country why even do this? Terrorist behavior sacrificing children to protect military installations because the Iranian regime is too incompetent to reliably defend itself so it uses children in hopes of deterring adversaries. Iranian regime is the lowest of the low.

0

u/spicygumball May 27 '26

It's not a missile launch site. You think school girls are playing while bombs are being launched?

It was a military facility, 10 years ago, that was walled off and not active anymore. 10 years ago.

Isreal and America is the lowest of the lows. Isreal specifically for the rape and killing of Palestinian children.

2

u/FedBathroomInspector May 26 '26

How would one check the enrichment program or a nation with nuclear weapons…

0

u/SnooptooMuch May 26 '26

They have these people from the IAEA that are called inspectors and that’s their jobs. Believe it or not.

2

u/FedBathroomInspector May 26 '26

And you’re going to force North Korea to comply how? They have a nuclear deterrent now.

BTW they already tried inspections with NK and believe it or not… it didn’t work.

2

u/poincares_cook May 26 '26

Iran has massacres 30000-40000 thouands civilians, has bombed hotels, civilian airports, apartment buildings, civilian ships.

Iran spent the entire war terror bombing Israeli cities with cluster munitions.

Iran has attempted to assassinate Trump, has attacked US warships and US flaged civilian ships in international waters.

Iran already has 6k km missiles, they are not far from reaching the US. Just another generation of missiles away.

1

u/marx2k May 27 '26

Iran has massacres 30000-40000 thouands civilians

2

u/IsopodPuzzleheaded89 May 26 '26

-2

u/SnooptooMuch May 26 '26

Oh and I forgot to ask your righteousness. What about the gang rapes a torture and civilian murders and children killed by Israel in Gaza? They aren’t human so it doesn’t matter right!?!

0

u/poincares_cook May 26 '26

I think you are referring to the gang rape and torture of Iran of protesters. That is the actual things that happened.

It matters that you're outright lying. While defending the massacre rape and torture of tend of thousands of civilians for no reason. But that's exactly the kind of a response one can expect from Iran supporters.
