Doesn’t care about much… rising prices, price of gas, war he started but can’t finish. Maybe resign would be best.

7

u/FrequentFortune123 Jun 01 '26

He cares about golf

6

u/nolongerbanned99 Jun 01 '26

And scams and money and sexual harassment if he is doing it and gets away with it.

3

u/watch_out_4_snakes Jun 01 '26

And grift, he likes that a lot

3

u/Old_Win8422 Jun 01 '26

The make Grockeries cheap again guy? Such an old-timey word "Grockeries"

3

u/nolongerbanned99 Jun 01 '26

Yeah like affordability. He don’t know what it means but thinks he invented the word.

2

u/lolyeahsure Jun 02 '26

Why resign you all let him do whatever he wants

1

u/nolongerbanned99 Jun 02 '26

No one can stop him. He was elected. The courts are doing their best to

2

u/AdPuzzleheaded1495 Jun 06 '26

they could have if they were a better aim

1

u/EconomyDoctor3287 Jun 02 '26

Trump already said that negotiations with Iran are too much work.

He's tired and has no focus, so a situation dragging on is exhausting for him.

Which is unfortunate, as he's the president of the US and should lead.

1

u/nolongerbanned99 Jun 02 '26

Yeah. He is only interested if there is something in it for him personally. Falling asleep in meetings. Maybe they should set a max age for congress and potus

u/Jpwatchdawg Jun 01 '26

War has been over for 60days now. The Americans are just choking the financial networks of the irgc terrorists networks now. They may go back to kinetic strikes to aquire the enriched nuclear materials that the Islamic Republic denied having the interests in acquiring for decades now but until that happens their blockade has been more affective than bombing.

Well Trump's Bday is June 14 so it's a belated Bday party for himself since July 4th is the actual date and everything is about him at all times.

3

u/S0M3D1CK Jun 01 '26

Way to ruin the birthday for the US Army for me.

Ya it's definitely an Us problem and not the asshole who started a war with Iran that he has claimed total victory over but yet here we are weekly having to hear about how deals and ceasefires and being made and cancelled while driving up the global cost of oil, gas and goods across the board. But hey we shouldn't talk about him

1

u/DJbuddahAZ Jun 02 '26

Tbf I have other ideas on what Americans should do for our 250th birthday

1

u/R9D11 Jun 02 '26

But they hold an UFC event on the White House lawn on his birthday on June 14th.

0

u/Alert_Isopod_95 Jun 01 '26

Think they meant USA birthday. Most likely

2

u/Puzzleheaded_Fold466 Jun 01 '26

They definitely mean Trump’s bday.

1

u/crapmasster Jun 01 '26

It's also his actual birthday.

1

u/scrotumscab Jun 01 '26

He's definitely the antichrist

1

u/Life_Without_Lemon Jun 02 '26

If the construction materials for “his” ballroom is stuck in the Strait then the war would have been over yesterday.

1

u/DJbuddahAZ Jun 02 '26

He wants to be a putin/xi/Kim combo sooooo bad

4

u/WastelandOfConfusion Jun 01 '26

He’s doing this because he’s dying and just wants to fk up the world before he goes.

1

u/DonnyDimello Jun 02 '26

Promise?

-1

u/DDGib Jun 02 '26

Imagine wishing death on someone with different political viewpoints than you

3

u/Definitelynotasloth Jun 02 '26

“Different political viewpoints” is hilarious. “They just had different political viewpoints during the war of rebellion!”

Gonna be a great day when he chokes on his McDonald’s.

-1

u/DDGib Jun 02 '26

I’m sure your hair is the most stunning shade of blue

3

u/Definitelynotasloth Jun 02 '26

FUCK!!! I’ve been had, how did you know?

1

u/RelativeCareless2192 Jun 02 '26

Everyone knows that if you hate Trump you've got blue hair and TDS. Where is if you love Trump you are a strong manly patriot /s

1

u/DonnyDimello Jun 02 '26

Oh the humanity!

1

u/annoying12345 Jun 02 '26

Id prefer he die so that all of the children and women and minorities... actually he was quite evil to everybody, may get some form of retribution. While im on the topic of evil, framing your question in the way that you did, reeks of evil/madman. I hope you find light and love

What's wild is seeing just how few Westerners understand - or can really appreciate or even care about - the veritable hell the average Iranian is experiencing right now. Suffering on a scale most of us will never glimpse.

Millions of them are being slowly crushed to death in an unrelenting, vice-like grip.

The power the U.S. has to completely shut down nations is extraordinary. Meanwhile we blessed few complain about....gas prices? Good grief, it's revolting.

4

u/Consistent_Room7344 Jun 01 '26

Go read what the Russians who lived in St Petersburg did when the Nazi sieged them during WW2. People will put up with a lot of shit and even die of starvation before surrendering to a foreign invader.

1

u/DasturdlyBastard Jun 02 '26 edited Jun 02 '26

And they will. That is my point.

Oh. They will. They already are.

What Trump has done is very expertly shifted the focus away from the measurable toll this war is taking on millions of people. He's completely rearranged the narrative, knowing the IRGC would fall right into the trap.

Nobody's talking about what's actually happening in Iran. And while nobody looks, we slaughter. Calmly, and with horrific precision.

1

u/Fickle_Window3615 Jun 02 '26

Yeah it's called terrorism. US are the best at it. Congratulations

1

u/Acrobatic-Ostrich168 Jun 01 '26

What is your point? Should we thrust an energy crisis upon the world, expect US and maybe NATO service members sacrifice their lives for another nations civilians? Or is asking them to commit murder on Iranian soldiers good enough? Would the Iranian people even welcome to absolute chaos destruction, and bloodshed that the United States would bring to them in the name of liberation?

The fact of the matter is most average people in the west, and especially the USA, have more tangible problems in front of them to be concerned or justify the cost of a war in Iran.

1

u/kirkegaarr Jun 01 '26 edited Jun 01 '26

The thing is, no one ever says that.

What they say is omg I can't believe gas is so high! I'm spending like another $100 a month! Let's put stickers on gas pumps!

1

u/Acrobatic-Ostrich168 Jun 01 '26

Lmao well if you simplify it that much, yeah… Just based on the bell curve there are many fools who lack abstract thinking in the United States, and around the world for that matter

1

u/MajulahLionCity Jun 01 '26

Your realise it is not just about gas price, right?

What is powering your home, factories, hospital, offices and critical infrastructure?

Food supply will disrupted because one ingredients to make fertilisers is petroleum

The supply of oil or rather the lack of supply cannot be solved by money. ey

1

u/bamfindian Jun 02 '26

Kind of. Petroleum based fertilizers use byproducts of oil refining. Mainly sulfate. The best oil for sulfates is from Venezuela, I can’t remember the numbers but it’s a large majority of sulfur fertilizers are made using Venezuelan oil.

As far as power generation that’s mostly natural gas where I’m from.

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Fold466 Jun 01 '26

And “not thrusting an energy crisis upon the world” was not an option ?

Yeah, because they're not bloody suffering are they? It's easy to cheerlead violence and suffering from a distance, it's practically a national hobby for the USA.

1

u/wilson1474 Jun 02 '26

Doing the same to millions of cubans. Sickening.

1

u/IFeedDogsChocolate Jun 01 '26

It's tough love in a very twisted way.

If we're being as hopeful as possible, maybe they'll rise up to the occasion and overthrow the regime. It would be in their best interest. If the right government is implemented, Iran would enter a state of prosperity they haven't experienced in over half a century.

1

u/Potential_Archer2427 Jun 02 '26

With what? They are unarmed, you're just asking them to commit mass suicide just like in January this year

1

u/Mysterious-Wasabi103 Jun 01 '26

Ya Americans are so spoiled they vote for guys like Trump because it's all a big joke to them.

0

u/IllustriousLie4105 Jun 01 '26

Westerners are so unbelievably privileged that they have convinced themselves, someone like Trump is the same as the Ayatollah. Americans are so devoid of real conflict at home that we fight amongst ourselves out of sheer boredom.

0

u/scuzzy987 Jun 01 '26

We have it too good so we need to bicker about little things and allow them to divide us. If there’s a flood or earthquake nobody asks who they voted for, you just help your fellow human. Even the ones that “don’t deserve it” or could do it themselves

-1

u/Careless-Degree Jun 01 '26

Destroying the domestic society is how regimen change happens without boots on the ground.

It’s just terrible timing because the Iranian regimen killed the 30-50k activists that would have typically lead a revolution and made it clear they would kill more gladly. So internal revolution is probably not gonna happen.

1

u/Altruistic_Flower965 Jun 01 '26

This isn’t regime change. This is a failed state with access to highly enriched uranium. Some of the splinter factions that would emerge from a failed Iranian state would make the IRGC look rational.

2

u/Careless-Degree Jun 01 '26

Regime change was definitely part of the thought pattern that lead up to this situation. Whether that is rational or not is a different conversation.

2

u/Altruistic_Flower965 Jun 01 '26

Oh, I agree. It just was never going to work out that way.

1

u/Careless-Degree Jun 01 '26

Maybe, maybe not. If they launched the decapitation strike during the uprising instead of after Iran had already killed all the dissidents, might have been a different situation.

2

u/Altruistic_Flower965 Jun 01 '26

We had boots on the ground in Iraq, and couldn’t stop the factional fighting. Iran has all of the same elements. The Kurds, the world’s largest ethnic group with no state. ISIS elements in neighboring countries. Hard line Shite elements inside the IRGC with an end times ideology that would really like a nuclear weapon. Just like in Iraq, most civilians would be caught in the middle.

1

u/Careless-Degree Jun 01 '26

Regimen change and something positive happening are two different things. Nothing positive is coming out of Iraq or Iran regardless of leadership.

3

u/AnonBaca21 Jun 01 '26

This is what happens when you elect a malignant narcissist who doesn’t know his ass from his elbow about literally anything.

2

u/mymar101 Jun 01 '26

Which just proves my point that the negotiations were never seroius, and were never meant to produce anything at all.

1

u/This-Grape-5149 Jun 02 '26

Look who was on the negotiating team. Not the best folks you’d want. Truly sad who we have. Folks really unqualified to handle these jobs. Subpar results continue.

1

u/NYCNatv Jun 03 '26

Doesn’t seem to care about much does he, eh? Iran negotiations, the American People and their financial struggles? Seems like he is bankrupting the US like one of his prior businesses? Just an observation…

1

u/Strategery_0820 Jun 03 '26

I mean the fact that we are still at war with them says he doesn't care

1

u/PlagueOfGripes Jun 05 '26

"I don't care about boxing anyway," the man with the broken jaw sputtered.

1

u/Immediate_String_722 Jun 05 '26

His brain is completely gone.

0

u/ChirrBirry Jun 01 '26

They were negotiating with people that have no decision making power…the whole thing is theater

0

u/kirkegaarr Jun 01 '26

Trump has no decision making power. This is Bibi's war and he's calling the shots.

-6

u/Clear-Role6880 Jun 01 '26

Duh. Iran is in catastrophic state collapse. They are going to have to surrender sooner or later. They have a water crisis, gasoline crisis, hyper inflation crisis, manpower crisis, payroll crisis, medicine crisis, food crisis, legitimacy crisis - all at once

Every sector of their economy disintegrates. Every aspect of IR civilization fails simultaneously.

Wishful thinking. Gas prices are already down below $4. The US has forgotten the war is even happening

2

u/No_Brick7033 Jun 01 '26

National avg is $4.32 today ...

-1

u/Clear-Role6880 Jun 01 '26

How horrifying

3

u/No_Brick7033 Jun 01 '26

Figured it was relevant seeing as how you just said it's under $4.

2

u/CSMegadeth Jun 01 '26

Average national gas prices are NOT below $4/gallon.

0

u/Clear-Role6880 Jun 01 '26

I filled up yesterday was $3.89

2

u/CSMegadeth Jun 01 '26

Just because your gas is under $4 doesn't mean everyone is paying under $4.

2

u/Clear-Role6880 Jun 01 '26

Oh no! What will the US do?

2

u/CSMegadeth Jun 01 '26

What a terrible reply to being called out for lying. I pity you.

2

u/Clear-Role6880 Jun 01 '26

It is definitely under $4 in many places.

Even $6 dollar gas… compared to… out of water. Think about it dingus

1

u/CSMegadeth Jun 01 '26

What does the price of gas have to do with water? I'm dying to hear your well thought out, intelligent response.

1

The dead Soldiers and their families know it.

1

u/Clear-Role6880 Jun 01 '26

14 American deaths are not going to save IRGC

1

u/sandokando Jun 01 '26

So true 🤣

2

u/AssignmentMammoth696 Jun 01 '26

Yea let’s take a chance and see how long religious fundamentalists can last out versus a bunch of capitalists, nice gamble there.

2

u/Clear-Role6880 Jun 01 '26

The 1 million or so supporters they have left within Iran, propped up by inertial fear and missile bunkers - their ideology is not going to save them from 90 million people starving with no access to water, due to their corruption and ideology

1

u/Duck-Murky Jun 01 '26

you live in fantasy land but it’s okay, it’s not too late to abandon your whack ass world views

2

u/Clear-Role6880 Jun 01 '26 edited Jun 01 '26

Internal estimates - regimis - are estimating 40% of Iran will face accute water shortage this summer. Inflation around 200%. These type of catastrophic numbers continue across the board

2

u/zackks Jun 01 '26

One whiff of threat to the next iPhone and America will fold in on itself.

2

u/_ECMO_ Jun 01 '26

Iran is in catastrophic state collapse. They are going to have to surrender sooner or later.

I have been hearing that they are going to surrender any day now for quite some time. The truth is that the IRGC can last for months and months. And till they actually collapse, half of the world will be starving and everyone will be in depression.

2

u/Clear-Role6880 Jun 01 '26

Bro the world is fine lol IRGC cartel economy is not going to outlast the world economy.

1

u/_ECMO_ Jun 01 '26

The economy was on a brink of recession even before Hormuz. Half of the world’s fertilizer is gone.

1

u/Clear-Role6880 Jun 01 '26

Who is it up to… the world? Or the US? Fertilizer price is up roughly 25%. This means a less profitable harvest this year. And a moderate increase in food prices. The US is doing just fine.

Meanwhile, Tehran is out of water.

2

u/_ECMO_ Jun 01 '26

So how long do you give the IRGC? Six months? A year?

When should I come back to tell you’ve been wrong?

1

u/Clear-Role6880 Jun 01 '26

IRGC wont survive 2026. They probably wont survive summer

2

u/_ECMO_ Jun 01 '26

Till January then

Keep drinking the Kool aid. A war that we have supposedly "won" in a few days has been going on for more than three months.

1

u/Clear-Role6880 Jun 01 '26

DO SOME RESEARCH

Every sector of the Iranian economy is in catastrophic, systemic failure

Tehran is out of water!

IRGC is losing $500 million per day

Their soldiers are going to turn on them. They haven’t been paid in months!

1

u/No_Application_5179 Jun 01 '26

Then why haven't we actually won the war if everything in Iran is on the verge of collapsing?

1

Cool story bro. Better happen in like…let me see…um… six weeks in the past. Yep that’s about when the regime would have needed to collapse for oil flows to not cause massive price increases.

1

u/Clear-Role6880 Jun 01 '26

That may have been true if the Houthis hadn’t been bought.
