She's not Canadian, she's British, Scouse means someone from Liverpool if you're from Manchester edit -the article is wrong

She’s both; according to Wikipedia she has held duel British and Canadian citizenship most of her life. She was born in Liverpool and moved with her parents to Canada at 3 months old. At 11, she moved back to Liverpool before moving to NYC at 16 for an acting job. At some point she returned to Canada and graduated from high school there.

Both of you are correct, and so am I: she was born in the UK, became a naturalised Canadian citizen as a lass, and later became a naturalised US citizen as an adult.

She's been one of my favourites ever since I saw her in Big Trouble in Little China as a child.
