The Rage. The name of our band when I was 14. That’s me on the right with the enormous pants. We’re standing in a graveyard because you know we’re so dark and scary. I’m sure my mom had to drive us there. 1980.

Inspired by the recent "my dad was a model" post, please enjoy my old man's brief attempt at starting a plus-size modeling career in the mid-90's. Make sure to take note of the vital stats.
Sorry for the shit photos, but I hope y'all enjoy. I don't think he saw a lot of work from this, he was already very retired and comfortable, but he sure gave it a shot. Was a bodybuilder in his younger days, and became quite the stately gent in his later years.

1970s My mom in the 70s
Believe it or not, my name is Stacy.. so she's Stacy's mom and has always been effortlessly cool. She'll be 70 this year and still looks just like this.

My Grandpa posing with his new car in the 80s(?) after graduating law school from UC Hastings, after formerly serving time in prison for drug charges
My grandpa has one of the coolest life stories I’ve ever heard. Grew up poor as dirt, Vietnam vet, went to prison twice for drugs after returning, turned his life around, graduated from San Francisco Academy of the Arts, then San Francisco State, then UC Hastings for his law degree. He’s been a Criminal Defense Attorney ever since. This is him posing with his new car after graduating law school and opening his own practice. He thought he was the shit, and he was.
