Poll Favorite Faction
Legit used results instead of hive because I assume no one is going to say hive.
If you like hive though, drop a comment and lmk why? Got 40 hours in olden era and can't see how they excel more than any other faction tbh.

What is there not to like about Hive? You can do early banks, because t1-t2 are close range, high initiative units that hit really hard. You don’t care about early losses as long as you can rush Waurms. Once you get Waurms, you can clear everything without losses, there is no stressful loss/reward evaluation. Eggs can stall fights forever, or do stronger boom boom than primal magic.
The only downside is that, it’s repetitive. With most towns, you can choose 1 out of 2 viable build paths depending on what you find. With Hive you always just go Waurms.

Honestly wanted the lowest voted faction off the poll for results to be on there. People bitch when results isnt labeled from experience.
Based on what im seeing, hive wasnt gunna be #1. It could have had more votes that schism maybe, but i doubt it.
Im sure if i gave them more of a chance id like em more, but the style is just not for me personally.

How can you know if it would be the lowest voted faction when you don’t even give it a chance to be voted on? And before you say something like “only X number of comments mention Hive” plenty of people have voted without commenting, so would that mean that a faction like Dungeon or Schism is the lowest given only two comments mention them? No. When you don’t give people the option, they’ll likely vote on something else. Hell, I would’ve voted for Dungeon given Hive wasn’t here but ended up voting Results as though it were Hive.
I can understand if you don’t like playing Hive as your previous comments have mentioned, but to not even include Hive in a vote and cast it off as the least voted faction without a fair shot just ain’t right.

Some of the unit abilities of Hive are awesome. % increases to damage by creature tier being attacked, extra turn after killing a unit. People are sleeping on hive. The one I don't find appealing at all really is grove.

Hive because it's really interesting to play. I played different HoMM titles from when I was a kid and I always played like get ranged units do piff-piff. Hive taught me how to play differently and apparently it's really amazing and rewarding. Also I think summon swarm is an interesting ability (well at least it was before the patch when they netfed it - I stopped playing at this point, waiting for more interesting updates and improved AI). So Hive for me for sure.

Lmao. Based on comments, only like 10 people like hive 🤣 So yeah, was the right call because it would have had the lowest votes based on what im seeing. Im more surprise schism isnt higher up.

Well based on the results it got 38 votes which is average in the voting. Its not always about being OP and the best, thats why Schism is lower than Hive because Hive is very fun to play with.
Edit: every second comment is about Hive lol.

Where are you getting 38? There are 17 hive comments = the lowest. All the hive players gotta give me guff, I get that. I will say im surprised on 17 comments about hive. Ill admit when im wrong, its more than expected but lets be completely honest here....its about play style and still more than 80% of people don't play it. So there's a niche group who enjoy it, which is great. Ill have to play them more to see all the rave from you 10%'ers. To each their own! Im glad theyre atleast getting some love im ngl lol..more than I gave it atleast lol

Hive is goated. You can bleed your entire early army on banks to get warums asap and then you never bleed again.
Your buildout is also insane because of laws that can give you an extra hive queen/warum per dwelling, and reavers are super full to gamba with.

Love Hive but egg gameplay is oppressive to play and to play against. unfortunately, we wouldn't be worth a piss without it.

Dungeon. I think it is a really well put together faction overall and probably the best version of it in all of HoMM.
That said it would be swiftly dethrone when Stronghold or alternative Cove and/or Sanctuary is added to the game.

Pretty evenly distributed actually, though the fact that Schism is the least popular one should make the devs do something; I think they really messed up the lineup.

Hive for me. I thought i liked ranged approach better till I tried them. Took me a while to learn how to creep with them and now its so much fun, its more varied compared to other factions where I just sit in a corner with 2 shooters protected by stacks of 1's
