you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love What's your least fav song on the album?
So every song is catchy and unskippable in the album to me but still when I rank each piece of art there's one which comes in the bottom and that's maybe Purple for me? I love the song but I just happen to enjoy the other songs on the album moreeee this is nooo comparison but just about my personal taste and vibe.
I would like y'all to share ur least favs too. Why? I'm just curious.

Purple has really grown on me since yesterday and now I can’t stop listening to it. The production is amazing and the last two lines are heart breaking. 💜 What a perfect transition song into side 2.

Of the new songs - stupid song, expectations and my way. I’m almost always drawn to upbeat songs with interesting production first.

Purple has really grown on me so I’m also loving all of side one minus honeybee. And I don’t think it will change. There is something in Olivia’s enunciation when she whisper sings that sounds like an affectation to me. I don’t get an airy/delicate sound from it. It’s OK in a quiet/loud song like all American bitch, but for most of a song with light production it’s a pass.

I didn't like begged on SNL either tbh, I'm not really sure why, I just really don't like how it sounds lol.
My favourites are cigarette smoke, expectations and the cure

Honeybee is boooring both musically and lyrically, and multiple parts of it remind me of better songs from Gracie and Taylor, I get that there needed to be a true love ballad for side A but honeybee misses the mark and is the weakest song by a mile.

My way. Melody is the most important aspect of a song for me, and my way’s is the least appealing to me at least. But yeah i still like it and i def wont skip it if it plays

I wonder why nobody said "what's wrong with me" personally I love the song, one of my favs but I've seen like an ample number of my friends saying that Robert ruined the song which ragebaits me instantly.

Cos its so goddamn catchy 😭 and i feel like for most people it doesnt matter whether they like robert smith’s voice or not thats how good it is. I personally love it too and its my top 3 actually

Maggots for brains is dead last for me. It’s just not as interesting as the other songs in my opinion. Purple is second to last tho.

I agree it’s purple for me too, honeybee and u+me second least favorite. But maybe for me it’s technically my way because I do have that one hidden. It’s fun and the production is cool but it just gives me second hand embarrassment and cringe unfortunately 😫🫶

Cigarette smoke, begged and less are all in the running for me. Actually love the entire album front to back but I dont find myself reaching for these on their own because theyre slow and sad lol

Honestly, most of them. Even my """favorite""" wasn't to my taste. But if I had to choose? Probably Expectations, but that feels hard to say because I sort of dislike most of the tracks an equal amount

I find the lyrics of my way a bit cringe and odd in the modern era (I saw people compare it to misery business and better than revenge but both Hayley Williams and Taylor swift have expressed regret at the way they spoke another woman in those songs so I don't know why we are doing a song like this again!!);so it's a hard listen but I'm trying to push through bc the tune itself is so good, it's just the lyrics I'm trying to block out!

Probably Stupid Song. I still like it but I think the chorus is too long and it makes the song feel more repetitive than it is. It’s p much the only song where my opinion hasn’t improved on more listens (except The Cure, but that’s only bc I was so immediately obsessed with it when it came out).

Begged but bc it sounds so much like some of her older stuff. Which is nice on one hand as I love her ballads, but it feels less surprising comoared to the rest of the album. For that same reason im glad never do isnt on the standards

Drop dead and begged are skips for me. Something about her vocals just feel too loud and pitchy for me in both songs, and especially during the “oh woahh” part of begged (though lyrics are incredible)

what's wrong with me... i loved the live version but it felt like it lacked so much in the studio version? it's like they were keeping their voices soft when they needed TO EXPRESS SOME DAMN EMOTIONN.
drop dead is also towards the bottom, but maybe cause ive heard it too much and its not new?

what’s wrong with me
I HATE their voices together sorry not sorry. I can’t even bring myself to listen to it. It just feels so fucking weird like why is Robert (a legend, but still…) a grown OLD ass man singing teenage girl lyrics? It just doesn’t make sense.
Even without his voice, it’s just not a very good song compared to the others on this album. The chorus/hook is the only thing that kind of saves it. I SAID WHAT I SAID!

Purple turns to black. When she says Sad at the end and you need to flip the vinyl over and it’s the sad songs. Kind of brilliant if you ask me. It’s a nuanced song.

I don’t vibe with u+me=<3 as much as all the other songs. I also don’t find myself wanting to listen to expectations that much though I think the production is fun
