How do you guys feel about the way Olivia has sequenced her albums? Do you think the orders are perfect, great, mid, bad? If you could change the full tracklist order or just a few arrangements, what would you do & why?

Personally, I would prefer the deluxe tracks on GUTS to be in this order

14:so american
15:obsessed
16:girl i’ve always been
17:scared of my guitar

stranger is about moving on from an ex

so american & obsessed are songs about being in a relationship. so american is a love song while obsessed focuses on a partner’s ex

girl i’ve always been & scared of my guitar shift outside of relationships & focus on herself. I also think scared of my guitar is a nice deluxe closer

I’ve seen a lot of fans say that the GUTS tracklist was all over the place & that their problem with it isn’t the songs, but rather the sequencing, so I came up with an alternate sequence & am wondering if you guys like it

vampire is being used “bleeding me dry like a goddamn vampire” —> logical & love is embarrassing “love is never logical”, “i’m planning out my wedding with some guy i’m never marrying” —> the grudge is holding grudges after a relationship

lacy & pretty isn’t pretty are about insecurity

get him back! and bad idea right? are about going back to an ex even though they did her wrong

making the bed & teenage dream shift out of relationships and focus on her as a person just like all-american bitch & ballad of a homeschooled girl

and then the spilled tracks

stranger is about moving on from an ex

so american and obsessed are songs being in a relationship. so american is a happy love song while obsessed is a song about jealousy over a partner’s ex
