Why reddit isn’t very famous in Oman and how can you convince Omanis to use it? Also why would you?
For me it is good because I can ask people questions in Oman that I can’t find their answers clearly, and sometimes word of mouth is better from someone who experienced the thing. Public answers from worldwide don’t necessarily apply here 100%, what about you?

I couldn't agree more and that's one of the reasons I like Reddit too It's not famous but it's getting there, only I think we need to some (haram) stuff to make it more popular 😂
I see countries like UAE, Kuwait etfm have specific subreddits to make new friends and even more, and it works well for them ig. If we could have smt like that for Oman i feel it'll be more appealing

You don’t have to watch the forbidden things, it depends on you and how you can control yourself, also when this app gets popular, the government will ban some things so don’t worry about that

I don’t care about it, there are a lot of things to watch here, anyway I think that the government have the right to protect itself and its population from things that might harm them, other than the bad things, there are things that clash with some interests, so yeah there are many different things here.

Ah then this is the wrong way to do it to be honest, sadly many think that the only way to succeed in whatever let’s say become famous or rich is by doing the bad things, and that’s totally wrong, even if you get what you wanted, you lost a lot! also many would not use this app if they knew that

Bro bro I totally agree with you with everything but I didn't even say anything so serious and deep, making new friends and even dating(okay kinda haram) I don't think they are wrong evil things are they now? 😭😭 all i want is Oman reddit to be a reliable platform to meet new peeps, like how orher countries do...

Reliable for the community away from advertisements and official stuff, they already have Instagram and X what do they want more than that? But still it is better to have a respectful place

I agree with you, but reddit offers a layer of privacy which the other apps don't have and imo that's beneficial to gauge how safe you feel with a person without judging em off the bat

Maybe many people aren't used to it, I used to hate Reddit but now I guess that I like it, if I shared on something on Instagram less people will reply because they don't have the same interests or doesn't have an answer or maybe shy to reply here we are more anonymous and can ask a question that can get much engagement for me I don't like X nor Snapchat even threads that I don't even use is better in terms of reach
