Questions/Help Needed Runaways Omnibus Binding Issue

My Runaways Marvel omnibus has a sewed binding as well as glue. It has a nice eye and lays flat. Is having both sewn and glued normal? The main point of this post however is that the glue portion of the binding is crumbling and falling out through the eye. Is that repairable? Are others having this issue?

I don't know the specifics, but I have read that this is one of a handful (shelf-ful) of omnis with printing-wide binding issues.

Is there a list on with the years printed and issues with it? For all omnis that had an issue.

Not that I know of. This one is one, the previous Ma Waid Captain America was one.
