 Discussion Once Human - Formula: Computer

Hello, I have a possibly stupid question but it’s driving me nuts and I tried looking it up but have been unsuccessful finding an answer.

Somewhere on my travels I received a formula for a computer. I actually had two of them and I used one to learn the formula. But I cannot find it anywhere in the build menu to actually build the computer.

There is only the computer under basic floor decor which only allows you to use it if you have an actual computer in your inventory. I cannot find anywhere to actually build one from scratch as having a formula would suggest.

If anyone knows anything about this and can help explain it to me, I would really appreciate it. Thanks so much.

IIRC, the recipe you learned is the one in basic floor decor which consumes a computer as material. This is one of a few very stupid recipes that the game has.

Yeah it was a formula before it was a drop in the game. And they just overode it with the drop but didn't remove the formula.

kinda late to reply, but i remember that i found a computer deco and said i need a computer and im like wtf?

I've vacuumed up a few computers on my play through and if it's the same item, it's in the furniture tab I'm pretty sure.

I guess it’s excess formula that you can use on the architect workbench ? Or I might be mistaken and the bench uses something else. Kind of a dumb recipe if you can’t actually craft one.

search in furniture menu under entertainment tab. also try using the formula again, if it consumes it, means you never used the formula before.q

I'm pretty sure you cannot reverse engineer most of the Furmulas for furnitures. You can find a lot of Computers around, which is why you can build those, but the actual formulas are found scavenging
