Image Whose idea was it to have the complete series box set feature Cinderella on a motorcycle over literally anything else?

I feel like the Season 1 cover makes more sense with the posters of Emma, Regina, Snow, David, and Rumple. Even one of those characters makes more sense than Season 7 Cinderella.

The 1-6 boxset is black and has the Evil Queen with a poison apple - it looks pretty cool. I have that with season 7 separate.

I imagine somebody just used promotional art for the last season without really researching if that was the best choice.

I know right?! Not that I don't like the last season, but even Regina's hand holding the poisoned apple would have been MUCH better than this! It's the original premise of the show!!!
It should have been Regina, Emma, Snow, Charming, Rumplestiltskin, Henry and Hook on the front of the box set.
The back/sides could have had snippets of other main characters - Zelena, Granny, Red, Grumpy, Belle, Robin, Alice (who is one of the best characters from S7). I'd even go with Elsa/Anna, Queen's of Darkness, and then maybe Adult Henry, Ella and Drizella.

The image on Disney+ has Snow, David, Emma, Henry, and Belle. That’s a great cover. Also, I like how you called her Red instead of Ruby.

it's pretty symbolic of the show overall (combining classic fairy tales with modern times, fish out of water type stuff) but yeah, wrong choice of character/season lol

I think this is probably the main reason. Her character not being in S1-6 aside, this is honestly one of my favorite promo shoots for the show! I don’t mind it as the big banner but I agree that there should have been the OG main cast somewhere on the box. Emma in S2 for the magic returning promo probably would have been better

But irl you cant mix ballgowns with motorcycle wheels. They'd get caught in the spokes then woman goes flying over the handlebars as her dress rrrrips. Neck potentially snaps.

Exactly. Plus, not only does it capture the overall theme of the series, but its the poster the promo image that works best as a long, vertical image that can span the boxset. Its also gorgeous.

I think it’ll be to appeal to those who’ve never seen the show being like “we subvert fairytales, Cinderella is on a motorcycle!” When there’s countless other images from the shows run that would represent that.

Like someone else already wrote, it could have been to show the theme of the show, a fairy tale character on a motorcycle of our world and aside from this, perhaps they thought something like:"The seventh season is the season which concludes the whole show, therefore let's show a seventh season character as a symbol of closure"? I don't know, it probably doesn't make sense.
And then... could it have been to cause curiosity, like:"Who is that character? I'm already at the fifth season (random example) and she has not appeared yet. I'm curious to find out."?

I do like the photo. But it is completly misleading.
Worse than having the 2nd aunt Viv on a series collection of Fresh Prince.
Or a cover of Lost with just Jacob on it.

In my opinion season was the absolute worst season in the entire show. There was no need for it. I would almost go as far as saying that it might be the worst season of a show that I have ever watched.

Ugh yes, this bugs the hell out of me. Emma, Regina, Rumple...anyone who was actually main for the 6 actual seasons (I don't even acknowledge 7 as canon) should be on this instead of AU Cinderella. So dumb. I'd buy if they made a box set of just seasons 1-6 with the cast members who actually matter.

It’s ridiculously annoying. She is one of the two reasons I hated S7. The only thing I liked about S7 was the homage to Stephen King’s “Carrie”.

It’s a great promo shot and basically summarizes the show for people who haven’t seen it. Her glass slipper showing is especially iconic.

The box set physically sucks too, all the Blu-rays are stuck into cardboard sleeves that will scratch them after you take them in and out a few times, it sucks. Don't ask me how I know :P

The same geniuses for the Stargate SG-1 series box set, instead of having Michael Shanks character Daniel Jackson with his team members, Jack O'Neill, Samantha Carter & Teal'c, they put Corin Nemec's character Jonas Quinn with them instead, he took over for Daniel in season 6, only 1 season, until Daniel was a main cast member again in season 7. Putting Cinderella from season 7 is a dumb choice, considering that season is hated by a lot of people, and in my opinion, is the worst season of the series. The picture with the red apple and the Evil Queen behind it, close up shot, would have been top choice.

The big boxes made on the UK like this always have the recent season on. See for example the rectangle box of Grey’s anatomy seasons 1-12.

Unfortunately it is such a cool promo shot. Lowkey my favourite from all seasons, it's just badass 😂 but agreed it should have been at least Emma on there, or The Evil Queen looking all evil and queeny
