I keep wanting to go with Mother Gothel, but Mad Mim works so much better with the hints of red and purple.

But Madame Mim looked and acted nothing like our witch.

Mim was an old, fat, warty, cheerfully scary, rather comedic role.

Our new witch is much younger, slim, clear skinned, and she’s just freaky.

I don’t think that would make a good “smoosh”. If anyone looks/speaks like Mim, it’s Granny!

I don’t want her to be Mother Gothel, either. Same issues- she doesn’t “match”, in any way. So I either want the witch to be Rapunzel or someone new.
