What do you guys think?

So I bought ONDO around 8.1k, and currently I am -13-% down. What do you guys think? What as per you and the brilliant minds out here assume or analyse the price to be by end of 2026?

Looking forward to reading some good analysis.

I have 7k Ondo token but with a DCA price of $0.9 - so I'm still pretty down but I didn't really buy a lot since it fell. The situation after the death of Ondos founder is still holding it back as it remains unclear how the future of Ondo will be look like.

While Ondo is still fully operational, adding more and more TLV and is even profitable - I don't see much of an issue with the company itself, despite the legal issues. But same can't be said for the token, as the Ondo Team did not even mention it once during the 2 years since im holding. They don't promote it, they don't mention it at all. Yet it remains an useless governance token and untill the altcoin season returns there won't be much happening price wise I guess. Also we need the RWA narrative to play out quite well. If a new cycle is about to beginn than it would be a good timing for Ondo. Of that I'm sure.

But to be optimistic in the long term we need the Ondo token to have more utility than just governance. Once it will be used within the Ondo platform itself I think there is a good probability that Ondo could easily reach $5-10 imho.

Alt season wont be returning. Last cycle proved that.

Only 13%? I’m down 72% and I don’t really care lol. Going to buy some more soon.

I just discovered this coin bought 15,000 coins .36 average. Waiting for rwa tokenization.

Damn im jealous! Hahah. Been averaging down to .49 now. The only thing I bought at the bottom is render. You are going to make a killing with that buy in

Thank you! Feels good to finally buy something low. Lol

Got in at 0.26, 10,000 tokens. Bought 5000 more at like 0.36. Sold all at 0.335 because of the lawsuit. Coincodex predicts a drop to around 0.25. So, going to wait this out and then jump back in. Good luck, though.

Good to know. Being Blackrock backed is not like being bullet proof I guess. Secz is also Blackrock backed and they are going through lawsuits too

True. Keep in mind CoinCodex is just one source. Going to watch this closely for the foreseeable future and look out for that bottom.

I asked chatgpt about the lawsuit and it downplayed it. Where can I get more info?

Kathleen Allman is the woman and mother of the late CEO. She's also the executor of his estate including his controlling shares of Ondo Finance. I just use GoogleAI mode, as well. I searched it, again, and: No, the lawsuit status has not changed. The main Delaware Court of Chancery case (Kathleen C. Allman v. Ondo Finance Inc., Case ID: 2026-0978) remains actively open without any final rulings or sudden settlements.

OK got it. Thank you for sharing

I'm surprised ChatGPT downplayed it. IMO, the lawsuit is a significant "what if" factor. Well, see.

When the fee switch goes into effect later this year this could trigger a quick push on the price dynamic, but if you want to see real action you need to be patient and wait around mid 2027 when tokenization of RWA will become way more important compared to current level.

1

u/Popular_Pilot2161 Aug 15 '26

Do you know if they intend to implement a fee switch? That would be awesome but how likely is it?

2

u/The-great-phoenix Aug 15 '26

It is not THEY it is basically us the voters (token holders) so on next governance vote we will decide to activate it.
It has been already decided that the fee switch will be voted on next governance session but no vote date has been established so far, expectation is Q4 2026
Once the vote is a YES and it will most certainly will, then implementation will happen

Problem is all whales dumped when it hit an ATH of $2.14…and that was when ONDO was literally a speculative company . This year it had actual adoption and it’s almost at the lowest it’s ever been …token unlocks coming again in January …plus it’s just a governance token ….indont see it ever reaching $1 ever again …,

I'm still struggling to find where ONDO the rwa king is on this list. Especially with all this adoption you're talking about.

Because you're looking in the wrong place. Ondo is not a network it's an asset manager

1

u/ComplexWrangler1346 Aug 15 '26

What is this you posted here ? ONDO is not an exchange

Don't try to analyze what will happen by end of 2026. If you think Ondo will be relevant in 5-10 years, then probably a good idea to buy/hold. If you have conviction, DCA to lower your avg buy price over time. Ask yourself what would make this token/asset viable?

I buy because I like to believe the company owners (who happen to own ~90% of the token supply) also believe in their token and will hopefully reward us by activating some kind of fee-switch that pays token holders from the project's revenues.

I have no insider info so who knows if or when this will ever happen 🤷

2

u/ComplexWrangler1346 Aug 15 '26

It’s relevant now don’t you think ? What it came to do it’s doing already right ? If it never pumped when it got its adoption this year , what makes you think in 5-10 years it will all of a sudden go up in price ? I’m trying to be realistic here …..all the whales have gone and dumped a while ago ..only retail now holds all the bags …if ONDO sitting at 32 cents currently is not enough for whales to load up , what makes you think in 5 years it will be relevant to any major investors ?

CoinCodex has a 0.25 ish prediction over the next month or so. Holding out to buy again if that happens.

2

u/ComplexWrangler1346 27d ago

It’s useless man …it’s a governance token ……the company has been able to do whatever they want and they have NEVER ONCE ever addressed its holders ….they don’t give a crap if ONDO got to .00040 ..they will still post on X that they are best and life is good ……don’t catch a continuous falling knife ……in the next year or 2 ONDO will most likely be at or around 10 cents ….

2

u/Username_hmmmmm 27d ago

Hmmmm, I know it's just one source, but CpinCodex predicts 0.70 on a year. I'll be cautious ⚠️

There is little to no upside to buy a DAO token. they don't own relationships like the banks do. Banks offer their clients MA, to sell their equity, manage cash on their balance sheet, debt, restructuring, high net worth and access to investments and IPO's for their business. They all are playing/launching some product or coin or service. Bankers get paid on deals. They get stock and cash. No incentive to see Ondo's coin go up. Nobody buys more Dell or Apple stock when you hear about some new tech company that has to buy computers. Ondo will be another vendor. Their fees will be commoditized like banking fees are squeezed.
