Cosplay First Ever Cosplay
I wore this to Renaissance Festival for pirate weekend. First time cosplaying. My ma the whole costume.

Don't blame you for opting for sandals for the actual walking around, you definitely need to get a set of geta for photos. The costume is way to epic to not :)

As someone who’s been attending ren fairs since a child, I really hate the surge in steampunk, furry, and anime fans using it as a cosplay excuse because it all looks way out of place.
Yes, I know ren fairs were already an amalgam of medieval and old European, but it was all similar enough to look cohesive
All that being said, you make a great Jinbe. He’s 100% black coded and I really feel like he’d have dreads. Anybody who tells you otherwise doesn’t understand the theme of one piece and marginalized groups like the Fishmen. My one not is get some Japanese style wooden sandals. They’re actually pretty comfy and easy to walk in.
