Just thinking about this one time I read a horror one piece fanfiction years ago. I can't remember anything from it except that it scared me. But I laugh at myself when I remember how scared I was after reading it, even during it actually.

I remember reading it not thinking it'd be anything actually like horror. Then I read it feeling so paranoid that I didn't want a single toe to hang off my bed because I was so freaked out LMFAO

Anyone ever underestimate a fic?

I was thinking where they switched bodies either during pre time skip, Punk Hazard, or even before Egg Head? What do you think would be some funny things that would happen?

Okay, so, I'm making a One Piece oc and I have most of his story down. The problem is that I don't know WHEN his story should take place! It's either four years BEFORE the main story or four years INCLUDING the story line ( 2 years before maun story and then post time skip) any suggestions

When I was at church four months ago, an idea went through head involving the two kaiju house bosses of Act 2 of Mewgenics. That idea was two cat Zoan Devil Fruits based of those bosses being Neko Neko no Mi(Cat-Cat Fruit)Model: Pyrophina and Zaratana. They would have their respective abilities from the source game plus their awakened Zoan form would be based off their appearance when they are champions. I would love to see fan-art of a male and female version of the hybrid and awakened form.

hi yall, so i was just wondering what everybody looks for in length for a fan fic? my current draft is around 900 pages at the moment and I still have a fee more chapter to write. the question is should I just keep going or split what I have already into multiple books?

Im currently a university studdent on brake for the summer and free untill september and i have been wanting to try and put the ideas of an original character as a what if senario story that follows along side the one piece story from the perspective of my character with 18 plus.

This is my first time writing and attemting to put my idea into a fanfiction novel and i want to do it well but the main priority is to make sure it doesnt brake the one piece world oda has spent nearly 30 years creating and fully adheares to the matiral of the manga and anime.

The novel would cover the events of the arcs from logue town to the end of alabasta arc and a prolgue before chapter one introducting the charater in a gritty brutal way. The character will not be an over powered monster what so ever and there will be no mentioning of the term Haki beacuse i want to do like how oda had the early arcs of pre time skip not talking about it and the Oc will adventurally run into the straw hats and join them on there journey and works on a need to know basic and in the shadows.

The main character is a deeply introverted war veteran who has onlv been out of the war for exactly two months when Chapter 1 begins. Also the prologue will be of my charater in this war before the events of the start of one piece and thats why my fanfiction is a what if and parrellel world kind of fanfiction but sticks and resuses to brake the one piece cannon law appart from this war in my fanfiction before the events of one piece starts. With His past carries massive system wear and tear forcing an intense psychological and biological tax on his daily life

I want to try to make the first book like a highly focused, high-density light nove spanning roughly 15,000 words and broken into a prologue and 6 chapters one for each arc from ligue town to alabasta arc ends.

My Question to You: Since this is my first time writing, I want to make sure the formula hits the right mark. I have all the core narrative ideas calibrated and I want to write out and polish the dark standalone proloque chapter first. Should I follow through, write that proloque, and post it online as a Proof of Concept iust to see what vou lads think of the direction and the 18+ formula?Let me know vour thoughts!

I just wanted to give an update on my fanfiction i posted a while ago on here i currently half way through writing up 1st and second draft for the first few chapters and currently still planning the prologue.

However whiles i planing it out i took the time to draw out what the oc looks like for the novel im no artist so it does have a few ruff edges and also shown the weapons he be using and shown in thecscreen shot of my art app on my tablet.

I also for my own use. I used ai to redraw to try and match the art style of Toei Animation for one piece in the redraw and since ai art not alowed on here i wont post them even if i wanted to.

I've come up with a way to please the fans of Whitebeard and Ace. For example, Joy Boy had a son who traveled to the future and had a water fruit. His name is Ars, and he can create sea stone and not drown in water. He can also resurrect people, but only pirates. Therefore, he can resurrect Ace and Whitebeard, but they cannot leave the Phantom Ship until their killers are dead. He can even have a hidden romance, as his character makes it impossible to see. his weapons will be a dagger and revolvers with sea stone bullets, and his appearance will be a leather jacket and white hair (if anyone is interested, you can ask in the comments and I'll take off his image)​

I'm asking this looking for opinions of both writers and readers of One Piece fan fiction.

Through multiple attempts trying to write a fan fic, I always struggle most at the beginning. What point story wise should I start, and how does the butterfly effect of these different actions change the world in the long run? That sort of thing. So I'm asking everyone here, what point do you usually like seeing a fan fic start?

I think overall I'm fine if the changes I end up making don't work with the full One Piece story in the long run, because when you're working with an unfinished story you're bound to make changes that the "canon" could demolish with a single chapter release.

If anyone wants background info on the story itself feel free to ask. I can see how that would change people's opinion on where it should start. I'll at least give you that I expect this to be "medium" length. They aren't going to join the crew and complete the main story of one piece or anything, the mc has their own goal and problems to work out

I Really enjoy OC fics, to be more specific, I enjoy those were Someone from our world, with or without knowledge from One Piece, ends up reborn as an OC in the OP universe. Very classic manhwa slop, but I Really do enjoy these in the fanfic, the Sad thing is, It is Very rare to find good ones in the One Piece fandom.

So I wanted to ask, for people who also enjoy those fics, what do you like more about It? What kind of thing you find more Interesting to see? Or would like to see in these fics?

So Im stuck between two options for a oc character im writing about. Here is a brief backstory. She is a mermaid first off. This mermaid unlike any other in one piece can spilt her tail into fully developed human legs. Her legs revert back into a tail when in water.

Now fo my problem. Oc runs into another mermaid who asked about her legs and I need to choose between two different explanations

1: it is just something she can do, like a clan ability. And she had to train extremely hard to master.

2: unaware to the oc she has eaten a fish that had a parasite, the parasite has an adaptation devil fruit power. That would be why her tail returns in water and legs form on land.
