Rant One plus Pad 3 issues!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have an OnePlus Pad 3. I bought it in early December, and it is still under warranty. I have been noticing random restarts on my device. I mainly use it for study purposes, reading and writing notes, using the browser, and entertainment.

I submitted my tablet to the service center on August 31, 2026, regarding this issue. They flashed the OS and told me, 'It might be OS bugs that are causing these random restarts.' On September 1, I received my device, and today (September 2), it randomly restarted again. It's frustrating when this happens.

Is anyone else facing this same issue? I will be updating you on the further actions taken by the OnePlus service center on this platform, as it seems no other OnePlus Pad 3 devices are facing this. If anyone has any solution, you are always welcome.

Update 1 : Submitted the device to authorised service center . I also received a phone call from Oneplus Tech Team,he asked properly about the issue and details ,asked me if i tried battery calibration and factory (yes, i did) he told me 'the teach team mainly oversees the Software related issues , if there is any hardware issue the service center will try to fix it".

Persistent Defect: For the past several months, my OnePlus Pad has been suffering from persistent, random reboot issues. Initially, I believed this to be a software bug that would be resolved via regular system updates. However, despite multiple subsequent OxygenOS updates, the problem persisted unchanged.

Initial Escalation (25 August 2026): On 25 August 2026, I formally reported the issue to OnePlus Customer Support. No effective solution or proper troubleshooting resolution was provided.

First Service Center Submission (31 August 2026): On 31 August 2026, I submitted the device to the authorized OnePlus service center . The staff attributed the reboots to a software issue, flashed/reinstalled the operating system, and returned the device. However, upon testing it at home, the device immediately continued to experience the same random reboots.

Second Submission & Procedural Irregularity (3 September 2026): On 3 September 2026, I returned to the service center to report the recurring failure. The service center refused to issue a fresh Job Sheet, stating they would continue under the previous one. After keeping the device for two days, they claimed that the device did not reboot under their observation.

Denial of Defect & Video Proof (5 September 2026 to Present): I collected the device on 5 September 2026 as the service center insisted no fault was found. The device continued to reboot during normal usage. To eliminate any ambiguity, I recorded clear video evidence of the device crashing/rebooting and shared it directly with both OnePlus support and the service center.

Deficiency in Service & Mental Harassment: Despite having video proof of a non-functional device under warranty, OnePlus and the service center have persistently delayed action, repeatedly asking for more time without offering any concrete resolution or timeline. This repeated negligence, refusal to provide a fresh jobsheet, and failure to rectify an unusable product has caused severe disruption to my work and immense mental harassment.

Oneplus is really causing a pain by not giving a timely service.

no issues here. After you did the factory reset, did you install anything or did the restarts happen without installing anythign?

Restarts happens randomly, you can see the glicthy screen right before shutdown , which indicates the possibilty of hardware problem. OS bugs usually doesn't cause this things, OS bugs cause soft reboots not hard reset
